Hi Jolene. Glad to see you helping the masses. Not enough content in technical fashion as you are online. Keep it up indeed. I'll be posting myself soon. Hoping you can help recommend and find the best lithium upgrade single not double battery. 75-100km range max needed. Or a guaranteed 60km range after static and variable losses. Thanks a ton hun.

Thank you so much for the clarification on the battery sizes vs. charging options. I was looking at the larger capacity, but now I will be going with the 50 for the overnight charging time vs. distance. 100km is good for me, and will do well for work travel and back.

When I purchased my bike here in Ottawa I was told that when one battery has drained you just flick that off and flick the other one on. Which is what I have been doing. But because I was using my bike throughout the week what I would do in my battery was low is I would charge one battery one day so I would plug it in at 9:00 in the evening and it was charged by the time I got up in the morning at 6:00 or 7:00 I can't remember now. So I would always have one full charge battery at any given time as opposed to waiting for both of them to drain. Just saying Jolene LOL

Greetings from Montréal, Québec !!! IF your prices are as good as the ones in Montréal, , I would rather do the kilometers and buy from you !!! I have seen many of your videos...I am ADDICTED !!! Ha Ja Ha !!! Since I live in an Apartment building, and work close to home (30-45 min...depending?) I need a bike that can be recharged once a week OR maybe at the work place, meanwhile working !?!?! Thank you !!! Cheers !!!

Thanks Padre!! I'll be heading your way in 2.weeks. let's see if we can figure out the right bike for you. Removable lithium is really the best way to go. Can we connect? Ridethewindebikes@gmail.com

I’ve been eyeing these motorcycle looking e bikes now for a bit,I’m wondering as I get easily confused between the daymac and the gts v S. the power to volt ratio I guess it would be? Also I understand some parts need to assembled after delivery. How’s that work? Any shops or easy to diy? And pastels any chance fatter tires can be put on from and rears? Thanks your cornering the KZbin market with these informative videos 😜
@ridethewind Жыл бұрын
Why thank you. Daymak and zone gts. Same 72 volts. But the Zone is far superior.. plus the last time I checked, daymak didn't have the em2 listed. So to me, that's discontinued.
@ridethewind Жыл бұрын
For assembly, we either deliver fully assembled, or, w the Emmo Zone, it's assembled from the crate except the pedals and windshield. Easy peasy. If you're in the market for a ebike, we'd love the opportunity!!

Where do you order more batteries for the Emmo Zone GTS if you want to upgrade or replace a dead battery? I cannot find them on Emmo's official site. I watched your video on how to get to the batteries since they seem pretty locked in the bike without taking most of the shell off.
@ridethewind8 ай бұрын
Hey, order for us. Everything, almost everything we have available at www.ridethewind.ca. Sounds like the batteries expanded.

Has Emmo not "fixed" the issue with the double packed lithium? By adding/installing a second charge port and including a second charger with the sale of battery set

Hey To get 100km out of a 50 lithium do you have to stay in the first “gear” ? I mean to get 100km do you have to only drive the 35km\h

@@ridethewind I just saw your video on being steady with the acceleration instead of flooring it to get more out of the battery. Would you say that’s more important ?

I'd recommend separate like the way emmo does it. 2 of their 30s will fit perfectly. Those are $1790 each

By the law, no, you are supposed to use 1 meter on the right of the road and do 32km max speed...like a bicycle

So they come with a single battery? So if I have a led acid battery and want to go to 72 30 lithium ion I only need to buy one?

Tighten the bolts of the handle bars. Then make sure the center bolt is super torqued. Bring to dealer

is it possible to run two 72 volt charges and hook up the breakers in a way that you can isolate them and charge both at the same time . and do you have a facebook or email address if i wanted to pick your brain abit ..you seem vary knowledgeable and have a fun and happy presence:)

Thanks man! my email is ridethewindebikes@gmail.com And yes, it is possible, but the simplest way is to get 2 chargers, and charge them simultaneously. Your suggested way would take just as long as charging each separately

Hi Jolene, How are you? I watch your videos. I got an emmo proton two years ago. Great bike with only 1084kms. Yesterday I rode home and parked it and now when I turn it on . I have power everywhere but throttle. Everything work but the throttle. Can you please ask one of ypur techs what could be wrong? BTW I put in a 35 amp hr. Litium battery. If I wanted to trade for a zone or Leo. What could I get for this. They guy where I bought it said it was a 2020. Model. But as you know they are pretty well the same every year.
