Thanks for this wonderful video. This video proves how marketting is done by both the companies. They coated only one end with anti corrosive coating and left the other end without the coating. By doing so, they could market this as "shied blue technology". It's not that the other end without the coating will sustain weather and corrosion. But by claiming they have shied blue technology, they fooled you into thinking they've very sturdy condenser coil. Sure the anti corrosive coating would protect one end, but the other end is unprotected and if that end gets corroded, you'll have to either replace or weld it. Both the companies know if they coat their condensers on both the ends, the spare parts won't be sold. So coating only at one end, they're ensuring they can still make money off of you.

How come both of these 1.5 ton acs contain 900 grams of refrigerant, and voltas 1.5 ton ac has only 630 grams of it? If both units are same size, how come one containa more refrigerant than the other?

Excellent comparison. You are absolutely right regarding the removal of Panasonic's cover. It took the Service mechanic over an hour to align and refit and FORTUNATELY there was no damage while refitting the cover. This is an important point you have identified. As mentioned there is hardly any difference in cooling and the litmus test of efficiency would be their running at temperatures over 52° and for how long. Keep up the good work.

Maybe Daikin compressors are noisy, and they try to save costs by adding some cheap accoustic jackets. You can check noise with a decibel meter by removing both jackets on either brand.

For a long time now, I have been looking for such a video of technical narration with pros and cons to get to learn how to choose an AC from different positive angles, albeit I have been using three Split AC units of Voltas make for last 12 years. Even though Voltas units have worked admirably well so far, now time has come to attend the units with some repairing, here and there. It's been very expensive from the perspectives of labour, besides replacements of parts as needed. So before engaging with any repair work, it is always best to have some knowledge of the whole machines and technoges in general as to what it is and how it performs, and most importantly, how it comes handy when repairing is needed. This video is worth it from all perspectives, generally. As a lifelong student of literature, I have never been to any workshop, nor have any interest in it, nor required ever. But my curiosity to know something that I am dealing with has been impelling. But I have been quite at sea when I am required to make choices or decisions. This video has deeply introduced me to the parts (physiology and anatomy) that go to make an airconditioner. But one this is not clear, the internalities of the compressor quality as the compressor is the heart of the machine. That apart, in the video, you pointed out that copper condenser coil of X brand is larger in length and width than Y brnd, but not cleared the pros and cons, while maintained that both performed well. However, I am hugely impressed. Thanks. 🙏

We have purchased Voltas split AC. It never cooled the room like ACs do. Moreover we have to refill gas each year... sometimes more than once each year. This AC is the biggest curse in my life.

I'm using panasonic smart inverter AC from last 2 years. The LED temperature disply on the indoor unit got damaged just after the warranty period ended. We have Godreg AC too bought same time, it's working perfectly without any issues.

For me. Daikin has always served my expectations. I got first 1.2 ton daikin around 2014-2015. Since then I got 2 more Daikin ACs for my home. I never got dissatisfied with the Brand except the installation part of my third AC where the guy came didn do something properly that I have to complain and fix it via company service. But then now the AC is good. Even now I prefer going with Daikin. ❤

I've been using a Daikin 1.5 t 5* AC since May'22. It has low power consumption and very efficient cooling. Previously I had a Voltas 1.5t 5* AC. Power consumption and cooling was good but it was not very reliable. It demanded frequent visits from the technicians. Believe me, a friend who owns a Whirlpool service (including AC service) outlet recommended me the Daikin. I'm very customer satisfied till date.

2 days before, installed Panasonic 1.5 ton smart 5 star AC. Cooling is good, but noise level is higher. I also have LG 5 star AC in other room. LG is lot quieter which I like. Cooling of both 5 star ACs are almost same. In another room, I have a LG 3 star AC. Cooling is not satisfactory.

Real 5.2 iseer hai cooling capacity 5680 watt hai 1350 watt power pe ya 6 Amperes pe.. 5 years pcb and 10 years compressor ki warranty mili hai... When both the AC is good then it becomes very difficult to choose. I am on the verge of buying 2 machines, it will be great if you can make a similar comparison between LG 5 star and Daikin 5 star.

Daikin has better build quality than LG and is better engineered. Like Daikin's condenser is bigger than LG, so it will be more efficient at high temps. Also, Daikin installers in my city does a proper vacuum during install, that's very important.

Sir, I have a Panasonic AC whose outdoor unit fan turns on an off periodically. I also have a LG AC whose outdoor unit fan keeps running continuously when the AC is ON. Both are inverter ACs. Is this behaviour normal for LG ACs?

when the fan turns off do you get any weird noise or does the room feel less cool? if no then that is a energy saving feature. Panasonic has 10x sensors compared to other ACs hence never let any other except Panasonic technician service it.

I called an LG engineer today. He said it is normal behaviour for LG inverter ACs. Their outdoor fan continuously runs but turns fast and slow periodically.

We leave in Guwahati Assam. In summers there is hot temperature with humidity. For Hall around 350 sq feet , is Mitsubishi heavy-duty 2.2 ton non inverter good. Is humidity causes lot of dust to accumulate. Please tell me which ac to use

Pls compare LG with Daikin. 1 year old Daikin is failed to cool in Delhi although service has been done . Please compare Daikin with LG in same manner. I am planning to buy LG as a second AC

Mitsubishi electric and o general some models have silicon coating on outer pcb........they have mentioned on their website.......

Heart is with Daikin where as mind is with Panasonic. You being technical expert, its expected that you have given your own verdict for quality of raw material. Its not wise things to leave decision on us as we are not expert like you. Please provide separate video for ac purchase guidelines.

Mene abhi 1st time ac liya Daikin 1.5 ton 5 star split inverter ac, sham k 7.33 pe chlaya 9.33pm 2 hour me 30 to 23 degree kiya isne bhut he slow cooling hai company wala dekh gya bol rha ki theek chal rha h, room 170 sq ft single admi baith hy andar, 5 side se cover hai koi khidki nhi na air leak fer bhi itna slow cooling muje smj nhi aa rha Daikin liya to liya kyu, kya mera he ac slow h ya sbja aise he cool krta hai plz check your cooling speed and tell me only daikin user

Mera bhi daikin ac hai 1.5 ton 3 star mai to raat ko subh 5 tak chalata hu aur cooling bhi bohot achhi karta hai mera room 200 squre ka hai room 20 miniute mai thanda hojata hai aur unit bhi 4 aata hai koi problem nahi

I have opted Panasonic AC for my drawing room because of its bigger indoor unit size compared to all, (2ton) while I have a Daikin AC in master bedroom because of silent operation, dono ke apne pros hai but both are good

Noticed in the video that in Panasonic GMCC compressor is used which is a Chinese compressor manufacturer but got Toshiba technology from Japan. But unable to detect which brand of compressor Daikin used. Can you justify that here?

Daikin uses their own compressor design in ac it’s called neo swing compressor it’s very quiet and power consumption is also low

Sir - You should have compared two 5 star acs or 3 star acs - and not one Panasonic 3 star hot and cold and one Daikin 5 star cold only model. All condenser/evaporator sizes and internals are different for 3 star and 5 star models. Hot and cold model should not have been used for this comparison at all.
