Dear Emmy, I just wanted to tell you that I absolutely adore your videos and especially the "Emmy eats Germany" ones. For me as a German it's just so interesting, how you describe all those familiar things and, on top of that, I learn new food-related vocabulary on a regular basis! Thank you for that, keep up your amazing work :)

Hello Emmy! I just wanted to tell you how much you make me happy when I watch your videos because you are so happy and you truly seem like you enjoy every aspect of all those snacks that you are eating. You seem like a lovely person so thank you for sharing these videos with us. :)

Oh Emmy, you are making me hungry! I live in the Netherlands, about 20 minutes away from Germany (by car), you're making me wanna go there and pick up some food. It kinda reminds me of childhood, my grandma used to take me and my brother right over the border when we were kids and she would treat us with German candies and chocolate. Very nice

My mom uses 99% coco chocolate in a red wine sauce in her roasts. Basically, you make a roast, take the meat out and mix the liquid from cooking it with red wine. Near the end you take 4-5 pieces of that chocolate and melt it into the red wine sauce. Tastes amazing.

@Embryoyoyo9 жыл бұрын
***** Maybe some people are snobs or don't taste right anymore but some people really just taste things differently. It's so fucking ignorant to say that something has to taste awfull just because you don't like it. I don't like to drink black coffee, but i know people who do, my sister loves bitter lemonades and i hate them, also i like to eat really hot because i like the taste of chillis. I don't know whats your problem. And actually dark chocolate does taste better when it melts on your tongue instead of being chewed. It won't be tasty if you don't like it anway but even someone like you could tell the difference.
@robot7979 жыл бұрын

Germany makes some good ass snacks! And their normal food is amazing too! I was once there and i ate a Schnitzel(im not sure if thats right) and some mashed potatoes and some vegtables. And it was soooooo good, and they gave me a lemon and told it would taste good, if i put some lemon juice on there. It sounded weird but it was so delicious! Germany is so awesome! I wish i could go there more often
@daskathi65389 жыл бұрын
Yep, you prounounced "Schnitzel" in the right way :D I'm from germany, so these things are so normal to me, but the funny thing is, that i don't really like all this candy and stuff like Haribo and so on. "Kalter Hund" is not typical east-german at all! I live in West-Germany (Ruhrpott - Ruhr district, urban area with a very high population density with a great history of mining and immigration). And here it is also very famous! And btw it is called "Hund" after the carts used inside the coal mines (="Hunt"). Because of the shape and colour.
