And the fact that she is keeping and open mind and beeing positive about almost everything she tastes on some level makes her very likeable to me.

Hehe. Yes, it was amusing. It was interesting that the color was described as the same as the grass, as the chocolate is listed as containing E141, which designates it as a copper complex of chlorophyll, chlorophyllin or phaeophytin, and so is chemically related to chlorophyll pigments like those that makes the grass green. Natural chlorophylls would be E140 in the European food additives code, though. It also contains E100, which is curcumin(the yellow of turmeric).

I love licorice :) But I prefer sweet to salty. Us Scandinavians are raised on licorice as a common sweet so I think we are just more accustomed to the taste.

I can't stand black liquorice or salt liquorice, but I have friends who have Dutch heritage who LOVE them. The flip side is one of them hates sour candies, and I love sour candies. I love watching your videos.

On the subject of licorice, here's the European view on it: Red licorice - There is no such thing, it's just not licorice. Black licorice - As there is no red licorice there is no need for mentioning the color, it's just licorice. Although it's sometimes called sweet licorice in Scandinavia, to differentiate it from... Salty licorice - That's the good stuff (says Scandinavia and noone else, besides the Dutch). :)

Fun fact: The drink is called MER which is "more" in swedish and the "älska" before means love, so it's a pun that makes it say "love more" c: I drank them all the time as a kid and occationally I buy it just because I love the taste ^^

FYI, the fruit of the Prickly Cactus is called a Pear, and is usually very red when fully ripe (as opposed to the green of the fleshy, thorny leaves of the cactus and the ripening fruit.) Prickly Pear Cactus is not related to the Pear Tree (which, I assumed, was in the drink...) Sugar and other additives can certainly make these two fruits taste similar as they often do when made into jams & jellies. BTW, I'm over 60, and I STILL hate licorice!

gryphonshire I believe that the Swedish name for the prickly pear is kaktusfikon, which would translate to cactus fig. Also, I suspect if it was referring to a pear-like fruit from a cactus, it would be kaktuspäron, not kaktus päron, though I suppose that sometimes companies do "forget" to compound their words correctly to get a nice balance and get their text to look nice.

Grew up not eating Black Licorice a whole lot but one time my friends had some salted licorice (just to try it out) they did not like it so they gave it to me and I ate both of theirs delightfully. So it's really not an acquired taste, but it is a unique one.

The little chocolate domes with white sprinkles is called a Punch Praline and it is essence of rum! My fav chocolate candy of all time! Pick and mix is really popular in all of scandinavia but Sweden is huge on having massive sweet shops. You can buy candy by the kilo! Fun fact! They also sell tobacco in there sometimes :P Very popular thing to stop by when you're driving across the boarder!

Hi Emmy!! I'm not from sweden but I have a little bit of swedish heritage in my family and it's really cool to get to see a very casual but of how they live and what they eat!! I've been super curious though, after watching your videos for so long I know about your lil kids and how you eat really healthy when you're not doing videos, do you ever keep the foods you like around the house? I have the exact same taste in licqourice as you ( I also tried to learn to love it but the Finnish do it better) and if I would send you a box of Swedish treats I would have sent this combination too. It's "fredagsmys and lördagsgodis" (Friday night cozyness and a Saturday treat) which is very average Swede in the 90's to me. This is what we ate :) It's the candy I grew up with in a modern version! You are an honorary Swede by now, with this amount of Swedish candy! Do come visit!

Thx for the nice review Emmy, yeah the pick'n'mix is really rampant in Sweden, I live in a small town (50k ppl including suburbs) and we have 2 speciality pick'n'mix shops selling exclusively candy and some soda to wash it down, both of them has 600+ variety selections. Geez, I think people are eating more candy than ever before and part of it is to blame these pick'n'mix =o) people hesitate alot to buy 2 or 3 pcs of 4 oz bags of some particular sort, but will happily pick'n'mix a 2 pound bag a few seconds later. There is some scary psychology at work here.
