Everybody is waxing about their relationship with Emmy's videos so I may as well do that too. I definitely came into the fold late. I'm a man, I was in my twenties, was probably 2015/16. Probably not the target demo. But how Emmy explains things, explores things, test things, all without any malice or KZbinr shenanigans... Emmy, your authenticity and sincerity through all of these videos has been what keeps me coming back. In an age of conspiracy theories and "fake news", your voice, cadence and demeanour comfort an anxious man in a chaotic world, and reminds me of what's truly important: laughing at the ridiculous, enjoying delicious, joy-sparking food shared with people I care about. It's all that matters in life. Thank you, and here's to many more years.

Yes, I’ve noticed in one of the Daiso (we actually have one in Portland, still a little far), they were starting to have more “food” foods, like ramen that you can’t get in regular American grocery stores, but has been getting popular with the younger generations, raised on anime.
@thatguyyarg2 күн бұрын
My wife gets me the spicy version of the hello kitty noodles when she can find them. It has become my favorite brand of cup noodles. I recommend putting the oil packet on top of the lid while the noodles steep. This melts the oil and it’s easier to add to the broth when it’s done.

Couldn’t agree more about cabbage. It is amazingly versatile and always delicious. Emmy, please don’t’ decant your sunscreen as the change in air and light may degrade the formula to the point of ineffectiveness. Weird as it may seem, sunscreen has a limited lifespan in the sun… ie reapply every 60-90 minutes.

Daiso has also found a place in Australia, with premises in most of the big shopping centres. A few things I have found in them are headbands, small soft face washers, a hand-pumped fan, thread packets for sewing, and foods like seaweed snacks and sauce roux for curry and white sauce.

There's now 15 locations of Daiso across the Dallas/Fort Worth area. I have no idea how we're so lucky. And each location seems to have slightly different selections. And when you buy something great and you go back to get another for a spare or a relative, they're all gone and you'll never see them again. You never know what they'll ever have or what new stuff they've introduced, which makes each visit an experience.

Emmy at 18:20 you can’t use that for sunscreen. It’s in a clear bottle!
