The thing I miss about vinyl/CD is picking the album too fit the occation, looking on the cover, maybe reading the lyrics. It maked listening to music almost semi-ritualistic. You cant get that with straming. One other thing, I _learned_ to like music and let it grow on me, forcing med to listen to it because I spent money purchase physical format. Some of my favorite albums I did not relly understand in the beginning, but it grew on me over time that way.

I think more bands need to make the occasional joke song, and I think it's part of Blinks success, like they covered everything from serious topics like parents divorcing all the way to grandpa shitting himself because he gorged himself at the labor day cookout. Being too serious all the time gets so old. I think that is why Eskimo Callboy has had such success with their latest 3 videos, the genre just hasn't had that kind of fun in awhile, on top of the fact that the videos to those songs are really well done.

This is coming from a guy that stopped listening to rock and switched to rap for almost a decade (I came back because most pop music is boring as hell right now). You know rock fans are out of touch when they still don’t get that their favorite genre hasn’t been popular for at least 8 years and is just now starting to make a comeback. This is why genres need to limit the amount of subgenres they have. It creates way too many bubbles that fans have a hard time of leaving along with a delusional sense of elitism that prevents innovation.

Hey Finn once again i really enjoyed this video and i wanna tell u that i think youre one of the coolest, most honest youtube hosts there could be. Every time i watch a video of yours, whether its an interview, you streaming live, you talking about a band's history- i notice that i learn some wisdom from you or that you always open up about a personal topic or give your personal opinion or advice out and it really does help people like me and resonate with me and im so impressed with it. You may not realize how much youre really inspiring me when you simply talk about your experiences and give little bits and pieces of your knowledge out- for instance- what you said today in your video about self-doubt was really honest and im sure a lot of people , not only me, could relate to that and you probably helped a lot of aspiring artists to never give up even if they doubt themselves. I know i doubt myself as a writer all the time but nothing would make me stop writing; i need to do it for my sanity and if it ends up connecting with other people and if i end up being successful then ive done a good job and gotten really lucky- and i wont let my fear of failure stop me- if anything- it just makes me work harder. And im sure every great artist doubted themself- but thats what made their work so great bc they worked even harder at their craft. What a wonderful point to make and topic to think about for anyone trying to make a name for themselves. All you have to do is be you, Finn- you seem to have a great attitude about life and give hope to your fans, like me! Never stop being real ! You always have a great point to make and a drop of wisdom to share! Thanks so much! I love u and your channel and as i always say keep it up and keep rockin! Xoxox😘❤✌️💕

I still remember a dude from high school who used to talk all kinds of shit about how good he and his band was. And blah blah blah real music, Beatles this, Beatles that. Even once bragged to me that his band was going to win a local battle of the bands because they were so good they could "play their whole set in the dark". And then proceeded to get absolutely blown out of the water by a group of guys who covered the Dream Theater song "Metropolis - Part 1" (this was back in the mid-90s when Dream Theater was a super niche band no one had heard of). So those prog solos/riffs just blew peoples minds, it was hilarious. Didn't hurt that every member of their band was individually talented and got to solo.
