I loved your prediction on where it was going to go in the "Reimagined" version. Darker and Heavier. Darker, most certainly. Heavier, yes, but not in the way you expected. The weight of emotion on the new version this is so heavy to me! I always love that a "heavy" and "deep" song can still be performed while being SO stripped back! I really enjoy your reactions, I think you guys have some real good things goin' on here! For me, hands down the "Drug in me is Reimagined" is my favorite. I liked my pop-punk nu-rock phase, but this new version is a work of art!

So I first wanted to say thank you for talking about the music from the beginning because I was actually going to ask and I thought it was awesome that you guys talked about it so I'll be definitely checking it out. Now I love both these versions a ton but the funny part is that I'd never heard the original until reactions to the Reimagined version started to pop up on my page here on KZbin and I must say that the original speaks to my younger rock side and I love that. But the Reimagined version speaks to me with my current life and the events I've been going thru in the last few years and it chokes me up inside. I loved the reimagined one first - the original is growing on me though. I love how the chorus is different in both. The intensity of the motions in the reimagined - they are not there in the original. I know that Ronnie said he doesn't like that he used Fck in the last bit - but in my opinion, it really makes the section better.

The stripped back version of this and I'm not a Vampire (revamped) I think work well because the originals for me had a disconnect in lyrics and arrangement. The lyrics are quite dark and painful in both but the originals the arrangement was light and upbeat, even humorous with the videos. The arrangement in the remakes connected better to the emotions of the lyrics. Brilliant work on both in all departments.
