The story behind the original version is that their first album was essentially a hate letter to his former band that booted him when he went to prison for being in the wrong place at the wrong time. Since then he’s made amends and grown up drastically, he has a daughter now too and the Reimagined version is the final farewell to his old life. His story has been insanely poetic from the start.

Doesn't matter if I like the label cuz it *is* what I am... Even if I say "no, I'm not an athlete, I'm NomaD" it doesn't change reality. I knew you'd like the Reimagined version. It just shows how talented he is. And he's so underrated as a musician, I'm really expecting him to go viral in the next few years. As for his name, it's Ronnie Radke (pronounced Rad-key). To answer your question, he does play piano, as well as guitar and drums. He also writes the music for his songs. Falling In Reverse doesn't stick to one genre, so you'll hear elements of multiple genres in one song. The first two songs of trilogy for example, is more along the lines of pop/electronic/rap/hip hop, while the third song is more heavy. But I should also point out that each song is heavier than the previous song in the trilogy...something not caught by very many people. Lastly, be sure and watch each video to the very end. Some fun facts about these songs: The original song takes place in the same courtroom as the one in Popular Monster. The Reimagined version uses the same notes as the original, just in piano form. This includes the piano solo. Since people already requested the trilogy, I'll list some other songs: Carry On Coming Home Fuck You And All Your Friends Loser Champion (one of their heaviest songs) Brother
@actualamateur1494 жыл бұрын
Underrated? He's actually quite known. Falling In Reverse is one of the more known bands in the scene. There's a pretty high chance that a random person on the street has indeed heard of them. lol
@tristantknight4 жыл бұрын
Being known and being popular aren't the same thing... as an example, Falling In Reverse is better than Linkin Park (no disrespect to LP here), but they don't have the popularity LP had...yet. I fully expect them to blow up in popularity, in fact it wouldn't be wrong to say that's just begun. I'd never heard of them myself until August, and it appears there's A LOT of other people also finding them. And by blow up, I mean huge. With Ronnie's talents, he could be as big as Taylor Swift, Eminem and LP.
@actualamateur1494 жыл бұрын
@@tristantknight I'm going to heavily disagree with them being better than LP, but that's beside the point. Ronnie and FiR would be as big as T-Swift if the genre they create music for were more mainstream. That being said. When it comes to this genre, the most common names you hear are Falling in Reverse, Bring me the Horizon, Black Veil Brides, Architects, August Burns Red. etc. They're all quite known, and have certainly made a name for themselves.

the stereotype of metal vocalists not being able to sing needs to die. Metal tends to have the absolute most extraordinary singers. Yea, there is alot of Growlers out there too but first of all make no misstake, *thats a skill,* its not easy and takes *alot* of practice and secondly they don't even refere to themselves as singers, but vocalists. Do you wanna hear the most fantastic or angelic voices ever recorded you should go check out: Ghost Love Score - Nightwish (Floor Jansen) Angels - Within Temptation (Sharon den Adel) One More Light - Linkin Park (Chester Bennington R.I.P T_T) Storm the Sorrow - Epica (Simone Simons) Karma - Kamelot (Roy Khan) Amaranthine - Amaranthe (Elize Ryd & Jake E) Decadence of Dignity - Falconeer (Dont know his name) Sound of Silence - Disturbed (David Draiman) Arms of Sorrow - Killswitch Engage (Howard Jones) Awakening - Unleash the Archers (Brittney Slays) obviously Id also put Falling in Reverse and Ronnie up here but that would be rather redundant lol. The list goes on forever. The songs I recommended here are not always the most popular or even their best songs but songs Ive picked specifically for the display of absolutely brilliant vocals. Most metal singers would utterly destroy 99.9% of all the pop singers out there if it came to a sing-off as so very many of them are actually classically trained singers while most pop artists are dragged off of some reality show cuz they have a pretty face thats easy to sell only to be autotuned into success (no not all but a very good chunk of them) unfortunatly we live in a very shallow society and its easier to make a bad voice sound good than to sell an ugly face with a good voice. Autotune in metal is a big nono unless its for stylistic effects... if you used it to cover up that you can't actually sing you'd get *one* live show and the community would devour you and spit up your bones in a ditch for being a poser and you'd be blacklisted in every metalheads mind... forever. Metal is and has basically always been built upon two primary things, emotion and talent.

And yes, Falling in Reverse has a lot of heavier songs, but why start with those, if that might not be your thing. The lead singer is Ronnie Radke. He is indeed extremely talented. He basically IS the band (writes all the music, makes all decisions regarding videos, outfits, etc.). He plays piano, guitar and drums. And he can sing, rap, growl, scream,... you name it! In the hope of more Falling in Reverse: subscribed! Greetings from Germany!

Also I’ve never met a metal vocalist who also does not have a great singing voice. The vocal coaches explain it a lot. Basically you need to have a really good singing foundation to scream properly. I may be a bit biased but all the vocal coaches I’ve seen say that very thing. On another note, thank you for listening with an open mind and not just being scared away by screams. Also we all wanted to be as cool as Ronnie in the first video. I certainly tried for many years.
