I just made these x-tall pancakes for my wife’s Christmas breakfast, they turned out exactly as your examples. Delicious, too. Next time I think I’ll add a hint of lemon zest and serve them with warm lingonberry jam. Thank you for such a perfect demo and tasty recipe! PS, with the cornstarch, the pancakes stayed fluffy and silky tasting to the last bite.

I don't understand the instruction at 6:00 Cover and HEAT OVER LOW HEAT for 4 minutes > TURN OFF HEAT and wait 4 minutes without touching the lid > KEEP THE FIRE ON until the dough does not stick to your fingers. Does he mean: Cook covered over low heat 4 minutes > Turn off heat and let sit, covered, for another 4 minutes > then uncover and allow to sit until it doesn't stick to fingers?

I made this for my wife this morning. They came out good, but was expecting the yolks to come out fluffier. Also I should have used my piping, but didn’t remember where I put my piping kit. My wife said they were light and airy, so it was a success. They didn’t come out like yours, very big fluff, they may have deflated a bit. I’ll use a paper mold next time and piping. Thank you for this recipe. Very concise and easy to follow.

@olalapola4 жыл бұрын
Jadmar they were fine, quite fluffy but with flour (not cornstarch) they went flat really fast. My biggest issue was taste - egg-ish, a bit like sweet omelette. That’s why you need vanilla but I dont like vanilla extract.
@jakenuss224 жыл бұрын
