Those planks were no joke! I had to drop my knees a couple times during rounds 1 and 2, but I managed to hold it the whole minute on that 3rd round! And those push-ups - I had to use the chair, and I could only do 12. But I did them instead of chest presses! 😁 Day 7 Done! ✅

Per Trainer’s suggestion, I pushed my envelope! Pushups from the knees 12 x 3, planks from toes for the full minute x 3, everything else a combination of beginner and intermediate repeats. Tough one, good one. Thanks, PJ❤

Been doing this 3x/week for about 3months and was feeling pretty good about myself. I work out outside in the early morning on my patio and it's now the HOT season here in south Florida (80 degrees with 80% humidity at 7am!!) so I moved this into my pool and it's like a whole new level without the heat stroke 😅😅❤❤❤. Jumping jacks in chest deep water are no joke!! Doing the planks on the pool deck- couldn't figure that one out on the pool steps 😂❤❤❤

The full plank is a more challenging variation than the elbow or forearm plank as there is less contact with the floor, meaning the body must work harder to keep stable. So it's more challenging for wrists & shoulders and because there is more involvement from the shoulders in the full plank, the elbow plank puts a teensy bit greater emphasis on the core. So, long story short - do whatever variation you can maintain with good form.
