As a GM (yes) OTP Moira I can tell you that if this person trained a bit in their timing on ult usage and orbs they could get very easily to higher tiers, they have the correct Moira mentality to play her and (most of the time) good positioning. I believe on them!

Btw…the Moira wasn’t “healing the floor,” they were panicking and probably tapped their mouse waiting for the orb cooldown. I’ve done that an embarrassing amount of times lol Edit: Also, I can tell this Moira watches other top Moira players, as they use some of the techniques I’ve borrowed from T500 Moiras like ArxUK. The ability to hold the cart confidently in the face of danger (especially in full 1v5) is SO important, and it can really come in clutch for your team. If you’re trying to elevate your Moira gameplay, I highly suggest using it! Edit 2: I have had quite a few games like this where it came down to me holding the point and when I tell you I feel such rage when we lose… It’s the worst feeling. I sincerely hope this Moira and any other supports that are hardstuck get out and climb. You deserve it. We shouldn’t be held back babysitting teams and carrying like this.

This is one of the best OW matches I've ever seen! Zuffix is the right choice to be the main character, too! Zuffix answering The Call was foreshadowed with them emoting on the cart, subtly telling us that they play to win, even if no one else in their team will. At the time it just seemed like something funny to make it not boring, for them and the audience, but it hid a clue of their future heroism. Note how in the first 30s, our protagonist even swapped to Moira to give someone their main, showing that they are pretty reasonable too. I am pretty sure that this player didn't take an active part in the flaming they reported to have been happening. This established something more. It's a great pleasure seeing a silver Moira using melee effectively with that consistency. I think attention to little things like that is eventually required to unlock higher potentials in a player. I would love to see them coached a bit, although I think they are maybe already rising in ranks as is. That was such a great performance! I hope you read this, Zuffix.

Best payload princess moira I've ever seen. This Moira deserved so much better than this team! The main thing I would say to work on if you read this Moira, is that you throw too many orbs at the floor. It works sometimes if you're in a room or hallway, but you did it a lot out in the open. Work on that and I think you'll climb no problem. Your game sense is mostly pretty good! Certainly better than the rest of your team.

i think where throwing orbs at the floor comes from are those "tip / tech" videos that tell you to do so, as it lingers within the range of your teammates for longer in one stretch. a lot of lower ranked moiras will take that as "i should always do it" rather than as a situational thing

@@dashsmash1806 Just try to position it to get as many people as possible. Throw a healing orb forward into your team in the middle of a fight. And yeah, still bounce it off walls if possible. But imagine being in the middle of a team fight out in the open. If you throw an orb at the floor, it will linger for a moment, but it will bounce into the sky and some of it will likely be wasted. If you throw it through your team and bounce it off a wall, it should ideally come back through the team and all of it should be used. It can definitely take some practice, just think of what will be the most likely play to get the orb used up completely and not wasted at all. You won't get maximum value from 100% of your orbs, but throw it in ways to get as much value as possible. Hopefully that was helpful and made sense!

This is why I don't understand Moira hate, most actually go trying to do the most for the team (Not alllll obvi) whereas you can simply just exist as a Mercy player and be the "best". Because unless its a dive heavy team with winston and tracer Moira gives no value. If she solo flanks anywhere over silver, she will get squashed. Ana Zen provide value by making it much easier to k1ll tanks, lifeweaver kiriko baptiste provide value with life saving abilities that counter high burst damage.
