Hey its me! Really appreciate you watching my game and giving me advice Emongg. Always thought Zaryas right clicks were a bit niche and situational, but I guess not, will definetly use them more in my games.

i’m no zarya marksman but they are actually very useful. (when the team is grouped, poke damage, left click then right click after a second or 2 combo, and especially right click melee combos when you’re within melee range is great burst damage.) there’s def more i can’t think of cuz i barely play her but right clicks are extremely useful. good luck out there👍

For someone who just started playing Overwatch, you play better than most people I've played with! Genuinely impressed, good work. Positioning is the only reason you probably are in Silver. Make your positioning better so it allows your team to follow up on them when they go for you. And that should allow you to manage your cooldowns better...

Any updates? How's it going? You can also use right click as a very powerful finisher on low hp enemies, because using left click will give them time to escape (if they are like a moira or something). And also try to always right click at the end of using left click, you need only 1 ammo to deal full right click damage (normally costs 25 ammo) (there's a sound cue for when ammo is below 20, it's like a wavy woum* woum*, but you can also just guess it). Also right click when leaving enemy sight (back to cover for example), it will deal good extra burst damage. When you see an enemy, usually: right-click -> left-click -> ammo near 0 OR enemy low -> right-click (right-clicks aren't always worth it, for example against flyers/other hard to hit targets OR if you are low hp and the target you are trying to right-click is literally in your face (I may have gotten myself killed by doing this a couple times, but usually after we just lost a team fight and I just try to get Ult-charge and die on point, so I guess it's fine :D )) Idk, if you still need this kind of advice, but wanted to still write it out and maybe someone else might get something out of it :D

@@ilove_dr.pepper. real talk, emongg is the main reason I hit diamond for the first time ever prior to the rank reset and why I'm almost back there within the first week of the season. I understood how to play my main heroes and my role before, but because of him, I actually understand the entire game and the other roles at a level I never could have imagined. he teaches an incredible amount of spacial, strategic thinking which has never come naturally to me. and it has made the game a million times more fun for me. he's genuinely one of a kind

So, they have a better mindset than a lot of the people who've been playing the game for years (already have an inkling that stats lie to you and are near meaningless). As a Diamond/Masters Zarya main myself, it looks like their biggest problems are bubble management, positioning (facetanking Bastion) and just general awareness at times (point being captured under their noses a few times; playing like it's a traditional FPS). That and they need to use the projectile a bit more, as it's Zarya's only means of mobility, extended range, and aoe damage. For silver, they're totally fine, and with a little more work, they'll be up there in no time.

Really good game despite him being new to the game. I think many low rank games go 6+/6+ because they don't know how to defend. But it's alright. My only advise is what emongg said later on in the video, if you have no bubbles you can't be aggressive unless you're rolling the.

This guy is really good on Zarya (even if shes kind of a Crayola characters). They've definitely got potential to climb if they work on the mortars. Theres some spots where even I admit I wouldn't have the presence of mind to throw one out, despite it definitely being the play. Nice gameplay! 🙏

she won't get it. I tend to shred zarya's in quickplay but my ranked is stuck in silver cause of other reasons and in those lower ranks she dominates. half the team shoots her bubbles every time and the other half religiously holds to a cease fire. so she doesn't get bursted enough to die but always has max charge. she just walks into the enemy team, gets 2 picks, and walks out
