@@emmysbear i don’t know exactly what makes the school award people with a full ride but they are a very generous school in general with giving out financial aid scholarships !! but i would say that’s being active in school and in your community, doing what you love to do and just working hard. don’t slack off ❤️

@@emmysbear a lot of schools start contacting you sophomore/junior year through your email just to let you know about them. emory can be but they didn’t email me. during late junior year early senior year i started looking into colleges and apply through the common app website it’s super easy and simple !

Greatest safe space school ever! Better than Brown Univ (Ivy league) that has puppies, bubbles, and free cookies. Emory professors have stickers outside their office doors that have a rainbow safe space sticker! I told the reverend I had been in healthy quarantine for two years or so because I had natural immunity to the coronavirus and was just now allowed around people in 5/23 and was judged immediately by the staff there. I hope there is no embezzlement there or abuse or traffickers there. Like I was a victim and witness to in 1980 by church staff members.

"One of only a handful of schools in the U.S. ranked tops in both athletics and academics." I have no idea what evidence this ambiguous statement is based on. Division III athletics? All athletic competition (obviously not football)? All universities, colleges - or just schools, high schools? What are the other schools? What a strange and useless claim. I, along with 1/3 of my freshman hall, transferred from Emory. Others were happy I suppose; as with any decision, make sure it's a good fit for you.

Pamela Brown I attended Emory a while ago so in all fairness it may have changed since I was a student there but I imagine what I disliked at the time has fundamentally remained the same. By and large, I felt the administration and faculty were not very nurturing. I found advisory lacking and above all I thought the social scene was virtually non-existent. In short, it wasn't a fun place and I felt disconnected from the school academically and socially. I assume there are others who enjoyed it but after I transferred I think I really discovered what it meant to be a college student in a vibrant and stimulating community. Best of luck to your daughter.

Pamela Brown Also, I discovered that competitive athletics really drives school spirit which in turn contributes to the vibrant and stimulating community I mentioned. It's not the only source of it obviously but it makes a big difference. Hope this helps.

Pamela Brown Emory University is amazing!! I'm a rising senior and just hearing the word Emory honestly brings a smile to my face. The campus is beautiful too! If you haven't been there I truly encourage you to go. There is so much diversity. You'll be able to learn new things about other cultures you've never even heard about. The professors are truly passionate about what they teach, and are always willing to help you if you just make the effort to visit them during office hours.. etc..

cardiotheater I think you may have attended Emory a long time ago? Cause someone from the class of 2008 said that Emory has changed a lot since then. And yes, a lot of people transferred out back then but it is definitely not the case now.

St John s episcopal church is in the middle of embezzlement trafficking casino theft central which I am not and I wouldn't threaten a church but the church had a construction project and a black twenty years old or so climbed the scaffolding and was drunk which was not me but I was probably blamed for it and he climbed back down and said he was bored. Then they let the entire Hispanic crew walk through the constantly through the church to use the restroom s and they weren't monitored at all. They asked me to leave and I was looking up prayers and had been to a eucharist.
