This gentleman gave really good advice. The presentation was well thought out, No fat or hot air. This would have helped me years ago when I lost out on so many interviews.

If you're not privy to job interviews then listen. All 38 minutes. Really good advice. In regards to the suit thing, I'd say always ask the dress code, and always dress up one notch (no more) from where you are applying.

"are you a likeable person".. dude dropping truth bombs over here...coz let's face it, sometimes no amount of money can make us stay in a job if we have horrible co-workers or bosses... LOL

Hi! I have written an article (in Portuguese) on LinkedIn about that lecture. Once I am not american, I am curious about which qualifications has Dr. Lowe. Could anyone answer it? Thank you! >Sorry for bad English, that's not my native language :)

Wonderful advice if you are 1) a man, 2) aspiring to be a "normal" lawyer, and 3) fairly clueless about what a job interview even is. This video is SO OUTDATED I am shocked that Emory Law School is even still claiming it. In his advice on how to dress for an interview, he repeatedly says, "if you're a man . . . " do this or that. He never mentions what to do "if you are a woman." Definitely a "swipe left" video.

He specifically says he doesn't think it's his place to be telling women how they should handle their appearance, and they should talk to the women in their career development office for advice on that. I think that was more than reasonable to say.

Wiliam Forsythe I don't think your attitude is fit for this work place. Thank you for coming in and good luck in the future. Fucking fruit.
