Thank you for the advice! I will definitely keep these tips in mind while working. I’m 16 years old working at a pretty big law firm located on wall street in manhattan. I know I’m going to mess up eventually but my biggest concern is minimizing mistakes and maximizing my understanding of the task at hand. I just want to make sure I’m able to do the task efficiently and correctly for the most part. My first day is Friday.

I'm a US student and I'm planning to take my LSAT for law school next year. I have been binging your videos and all of the ones I've watched thus far have been very informative! Thank you so much for the information!

Hi I am a law graduate (class of 2019), thanks for this video. Just wanted to add that if anyone is considering a career in legal practice, do undergo internships in law firms during law school. I actually spent my law school summers interning in Startups and MNCs, which gave me a large shock by the time I was due to commence my traineeship (Pupillage).

Very informational, thanks for sharing! Just some advice - it’s be less distracting if there were less cuts (or less obvious cuts) between clips.

Commenting to support! A bit random, are you guys familiar with family law and if you can make a video about prenup? Of course, you are not giving legal advice here
@EmandLloyd2 жыл бұрын
Thanks Aidan ☺️ I (Em) used to practice family law earlier on in my career, but I'm not up-to-date enough on the topic to discuss it - the approach towards pre-nups is also super different from country to country!

heyyy, i am currently in an internship. i’m a high school student and they expect me to fulfill a lot of tasks i have no idea how to do (i.e. looking for a translator??) 😭 do you have any advice?

btw this video was super helpful! i already had my first day unfortunately and i didn’t realize how important it was to communicate my confusion - asking questions felt like i was pestering people in the firm, especially because i don’t want to be a burden
@EmandLloyd2 жыл бұрын
Definitely ask questions if you don't know how to do something! It's much better to ask and do things right rather than not ask and end up making a mistake. I'm sure they'll expect you to have plenty of questions as a high school student too - it's to be expected! Best of luck with your internship 😄
