British sporting icon Carl Fogarty took a trip down memory lane marking 30 years since his first World Superbike Championship success.

My sporting hero in the 90's, watched every single race and interview with him, and tried to copy his winning mentality into my own life. I met him once in Manchester airport 27th May 2004, and he kindly signed a A4 card that I had on me, he put 'To Daz with his signature below with the #no1 next to it. It's been on my bedroom wall ever since #legend

In Carl's defense you have to be ruthless to be a world champion! Just think of Lawson, Rainey, Edwards, Gardner and so on, they were win or die!! Great respect for Carl
