Emotional First Time Meeting Her Sister! *NAME REVEAL*

It was an emotional day for all of us when we brought our newborn baby girl home from the hospital to meet her sister for the first time! As many of you know by now, we have a beautiful 1 year old daughter, named Micah, who has such a gentle and loving spirit. Throughout all of Jess' pregnancy, Micah has been carrying around a cute baby doll, feeding her, loving her, and taking care of her. All of that training is finally paying off as Micah gets to meet her infant newborn baby sister for the very first time. She had the cutest reaction to meeting her sister, and we are so excited to finally share the name reveal of our precious little baby girl!

Seeing the girls together was so cute, she missed mama so much. She was ok loving on the baby herself, but became upset when MAMA wanted the baby. The most precious thing to watch them together. I love so much how you introduced them! Most parents force it on the child and make them hold there baby when the Kid is scared. I love how you took the time to meet with her alone so she could acknowledge how much she missed you. Then you got her somthing and told her it’s from the baby. (That’s like so important) and let her hold her when she wanted to, letting her come to the baby on her terms. That was absolutely incredible and Not many people do that! That’s like amazing!

My mother in law had 10 kids. She said 3 was the hardest number. By the time she had baby #4, my husband (the oldest) was old enough to be a huge helper to her. He's always been really responsible and he loves kids, so he loved helping out with all his younger siblings.

She will realize quickly that PJ is here to stay and her emotions will settle down over wanting to be with PJ a lot. Our oldest did this with our 2nd. Ok i got emotional . Reminded me of when my son met my daughter first time . He was same as micah we got good advice which was ask for his help with things like can you pull out a wipe for me or hold the shampoo etc. And always include him he ended up sitting next to her moses basket every day. Micah will most likely be jealous for a minute until she realizes Paige is a permanent part of the family. It's a crazy journey but they will be the best of friends. Just be sure to give Micah her own "Special" one on one time with mom and dad. (Special outings/dates with either mom, dad, or both parents together were my older sons favorite thing and made him feel special. Baby stayed home and all attention was on him during that time! Just an idea that worked for my family 😉

Micah is the sweetest! She's acting like I was with my baby brother, according to my mum I wanted them to put my brother's crib in my room (I was 3 1/2 when he was born).
