everyone wants a happy ending and a fairy tale life, but things happen. you realize that this wasn’t where you wanted to be and you needed a new beginning to rediscover who you are and become the person you want to be. don’t cry because it’s ending, smile because it happened. you got 6 awesome kids. if you didn’t meet Lonnie, you wouldn’t have had your kids.

I left a bad relationship 2 years ago. Been doing the single mom life and it's tough. You're going to grow and stretch in ways you may not expect but you'll come out better. Let the emotions flow because facing them is what helps you grow and process what you're going through. You can do hard things! 💪 Much love ❤️

Life doesn’t always move the way we plan , but as long as it’s moving it will all eventually be in a place of feeling “right”. Be proud of yourself , you realized this wasn’t the way it’s supposed to be or feel and picked (and packed)yourself up for not only your kids but your own well being. This isn’t an end it’s a start , congratulate yourself on your strength and knowing eventually your place in life will be comfortable and happy ❤

I have been watching you for some time and never commented but this video truly resonated with me. You are SO STRONG. I am separating from my husband too and it is a little messy. When you said that you had convinced yourself of how things were I couldn’t relate more. When that comes crashing down nothing could feel worse even though you always knew somewhere in the back of your mind that things weren’t really right. I have two children who are little still and it’s incredibly difficult so I can’t even begin to imagine doing that with 6 children and having to accept that one isn’t coming along with you. I felt weak all night tonight in my emotions and came on KZbin for mindlessness but instead I found strength and motivation in your video. I truly hope that you realize what a bad ass you are to keep going, to tell yourself that you need to pull it together and then to do it with grace like you do. Your children are so lucky to have such a wonderful mother! You got this ❤️

We moved two years ago and I’m almost but still not quite fully unpacked. We had to buy furniture and ended up canceling our first order after four months of “We will call you when it is in.” They should have started with telling us there was a long delay due to Covid and then my expectations would have been set. However, we went with things that were in stock on our second order. All of which is to say that you are doing great and keep going. Those things are rough, but not the worst ever. Love the festive nails!

Accidently came by your channel but I've always believed that things happen for a reason ( even if at first we're not happy about it ) and anyway I'm really glad that I bumped into your vlog. I am sorry to hear about your separation but am glad to see that you are carrying on for your children. As a single parent of an adult daughter that was born with multiple special needs and having taught students with the same (for 30 years ) I can totally understand what a challenge it can be to keeping it "all together". Go ahead and cry when you need to do so (although right now you're probably so exhausted at the end of the day that all you want to do is sleep!). We your subscribers understand. Am I right, subscribers? I am now your most recent subscriber and I intend to go back and binge watch all your other vlogs. Hope that helps some. In the meantime, try to nurture yourself some - you can only nurture others if there is some nurture in your own nurture " bank".

I'm in the middle of making the same decision with my 2nd marriage. The difference now is that all my kids are adults. I've been in this relationship 30 yrs. We're more like roommates than anything. I am concentrating on me now and my happiness. Too many lies and deception in this relationship. I need to do this. I am very happy to make this change soon. Not sure where I am headed but I like adventure and the thought of the unknown. I'm a strong woman and I'm ready to venture out.

Most of family has past on, the few left don't want contact for many years now. Roommate of 15 years wants to move out badly. That would leave me really super alone bcuz of no family. Very hard. All I can do is pray.

Hang in there . I know what you’re going through. I have eight kids and five lived with us when my kids father walked out on us after 34 years together. No warning or anything he left that morning for work and never came back. He did horrible things afterwards that effected my kids for life. Breathe and take one minute one day at a time . Things will get easier over time. I know both are lives are little different but crazy at times with kids needing to be somewhere or something all the time. But are children are worth it. I wasn’t in a good place since he told me to stay home and raise the kids and he had everything put in his name. But just look how you’re putting smiles on your kids faces and you know it will be alright. Love you Stephanie and your amazing family.

Awesome idea to get the kids gifts to stay upbeat and make them feel comfortable about moving! I'm sorry it's not under the circumstances you hoped for but I know exactly how you feel. No one should be unhappy and stay together just for the kids. I got a divorce after 10 years of marriage and I was unhappy almost the entire time. I was worried if I got a divorce my family and friends would be disappointed and they were but that was my fault because I wasn't honest about my marriage so everyone was very confused when after 10 years of supposedly being happily married I'm now getting a divorce. So yes it was hard to explain but I'm happier than ever and wouldn't change a thing. Good luck to you. You are a strong woman and you know what's best for you and your family! Thank you for sharing such a tough time in your life. Very much appreciated!

I must say I'm pretty jealous of how much help you get in the home. I'm in Canada and I'm a single mom to 4 girls all with special needs(asd, epilepsy, fasd(adopted) ADHD and speech disorders)and I had to fight to get respite once a month. There's absolutely no in home help unless you pay for it yourself.
@OurLANDingCrew8
@OurLANDingCrew8 Жыл бұрын
I completely understand. We've only had respite since April and therapies for 2 years, my oldest autistic child is 15 so I understand what you mean. I remember being SO jealous of other families on here who would get help and I was just stuck doing it all by myself so I want to tell you those feelings are valid and it infuriates me that this help isn't across the board because it absolutely should be. Colorado is AMAZING for special needs families.

I couldnt even get nursing support to come train me on how to give my daughter her rescue meds so the first time she needed it I was panicking and toke way longer then i should of also therapys are rarely in your house which sucks when your a single parent with multiple kids. Love all the kids personalities Lex is in the preview picture I want to watch just saying. Lonnie I know wasn't perfect and emotional abuse is awful but I hope you can appreciate the good times and the family that came through that relationship. The fact that you were able to file for divorce with as clean as it seems to be you two at least worked well together for the family. That is not love but you care about each other at least for the kids. With his challenges that is improvement. I wish both of you growth because a better Lonnie will be better for the kids and I think better for you to that you know the kids have a strong dad that is doing well emotionally too. Biggest question is how you are feeling through the transition. Kids too since transitions are tough for autistics like myself. I am changing jobs and the change of new co workers which I haven't had in two years. I want to rip the band-aid and going through the 2 week notice is emotionally exhausting.

That’s a long time it’s better to separate early when you see the red flags. Breakup takes a toll on the children. My advice to women is get out early even before you have kids don’t convince yourself when you know something is not going to workout.
