This episode also clearly shows how the inhibitor chips altered the clones thinking, even basic self-preservation instincts. They completely ignored the fact that they are in a ship on a collision course with a planet, their sole focus was to kill their Order 66 targets. Also I can imagine that poor Ahsoka having serious survivor's guilt after this, her actions eventually resulted the escape of Maul and the deaths of all the clones on board (except for Rex). Although I'm sure they would wanted her to fight for her life and not let this evil plan to be successful (at least in her case).

Jebalita BattleBush It was in a canon comic book. Forgot the name. Basically, the short of it is, he learned of Order 66 and Sidious had him kidnapped and put into suspended animation by the CIS. The CIS ship he was on somehow wound up stranded on a planet while he was in suspended animation. Some pirates found him while trying to salvage old war tech 50 years later and he ended up joining their crew. No real emotional connection to what is basically a living relic of the Clone Wars who probably blames himself for Order 66 (Not being able to warn the republic about it). @Samuel Bishop Actually, the gap from TCW to Rebels is 15 years, and Rogue One/A New Hope is 4 years after that, 19 years after The Clone Wars/Revenge of the Sith. 30 years is way off. Vader’s last moment with the lightsaber is one of his last times he ever let Anakin feel anything. It was a fleeting feeling, but one of longing and regret.

What I like about Maul's rampage here is that it calls back to a long forgotten, early idea that Lucas once had that Sith where never supposed to use Lightsabers. It used to be that the Lightsaber was a weapon of the Jedi and only the Jedi. Darth Vader used a Lightsaber because he was a Jedi, a Dark Knight archetype. For the Sith, the Force is their weapon.

Okay no matter what episode or how many times I watch this one or other ones I cannot stop myself from crying, cause Idk if it's just me or whatever but whenever a clone dies my heart breaks even more, cause like you've been watching these guys and been with them watching them grow since season 1 and the fact that they're still kids since they age faster is even more depressing

I came here to see the reaction of the final episode. Sticking around now for the entertaining / adorable Louise.

Hey Louise! Watching the final episode broke my heart and then watching you react to Ahsoka removing Rex's helmet to see him crying broke my heart all over again! I'm so glad to have found you here and I'm now a huge fan! You're awesome! ♥

I just don't know if anyone got this but that shot of mail had red and blue lights going off behind him, and he is in the middle, meaning he's not a Jedi or Sith no more. Ahsoka Tano dropping the blue light saber means she is no longer a Jedi under Skywalker, for it was the main thing he gave to her.

Don't worry about crying, we've been on a long journey with these characters. I cried watching

The last scenes represents the rise of vader, the loss of the clones, and the survival of ahsoka

I just watched this for the first time. That... this is some of the best Star Wars I've ever seen. Ahsoka truly comes into her own. Parts of it are like having your heart ripped out, as it should be. Just... wow.

This was the most visceral reaction to The Clone Wars I've EVER seen, but we can all relate! What a crazy ride. I'm just glad Filoni got to end the show on his own terms. And this episode just makes the Ahsoka and Vader storyline in Rebels that much stronger!

I was expecting to see Vader at the end so I didn't loose my mind. That said, I loved the way they handled him. They didn't try to show him off in every way. No words, no lightsaber, nothing showy. Just a lone dead man walking in the snow, seeing how the Republic and her padawan are now gone, nothing but shattered memories from another lifetime... Thank you Dave for an incredible May the 4th!

When the camera focus on Jesse's helmet at the end, it symbolizes the end of the republic being his helmet has the Republic logo on it and the death of Jesse. Jesse didn't die for the Republic, he died with it.

Watching you cry 😭 made me cry 😢 as well. And I couldn’t help it, I bawled me eyes out and my sister even thought something horribly wrong had happened to me and I told her: “ Something so incredibly sad did happen in the Clone Wars episode. “

First off your reaction to Vader...priceless, not what I expected but what we needed, I share your sentiment being satisfied with this ending, also we learn why Rex is Captain & not Commander in Rebels. I was hoping the see a bit from the Duel on Mustafar or Obi-Wan’s holocron message but neither was necessary here. The Clone Wars ends the same way it began with Victory & Death. Happy Star Wars Day and May the 4th be with you...always
