This totally helped me see now my trigger! I always got caught up in a overthinking, needy, emotional cycle when my ex would talk to me about getting back together every time I would watch different break up videos, ask friends for advice, look up something similar online that kinda had to do with my situation.... If he texted me saying he loves me and wanting to slowly get back together, I would start asking people, youtube, whatever and then I got into my head. Then I would text and text my ex all this crazy emotional stuff. Instead of taking his work for what he said was true..... it has caused me a lot of pain. But its good I see what the emotional trigger was.... wow!

Honestly, i dont know my ex's emotional triggers. Only thing he tells me is he doesn't like to be asked questions......which 2 me could mean anything. He doesn't talk about his past, he is very secluded and I got 2 the point where I dont ask. I feel he has been hurt and so hurt he doesn't want to talk about anything. Only thing I can say for me that I did wrong.....was I chased and was too attached. I definitely loosened my grip. I won't put myself in a position to get played again and care too much, love too much. He has 2 earn that back.

I have been trying to make up for the emotional damage I have caused my long term partner. We are not officially together anymore. But we still have feelings for each other. I have been trying every way, being a good listener, understanding and receiving his side of the story and apologising and rectifying my mistakes. But he ends up thinking that my efforts are too little, if not too late. And it discourages me a lot, and then I end up feeling helpless. Please help me figure out what to do from this point on.

Peacebeautylove don’t lose hope, my ex has reached out to me after 3 and a half weeks of no contact, no IG likes etc.. I was just out of sight, and she reached out to tell me about her new amazing job, thanking me for the times I told her she should change, and that if I needed any help to move to NY I should let her know. (We were in long distance relationship, it was planned that I move to the same city than her) And since then we text a bit, not everyday but im confident this will workout when I move. When you get out of someone’s life, they feel like they are the losers because they’re not expecting you to do it and they don’t want you to forget about them, so wait a couple more weeks and you’ll see ;)

Dear love advice tv Hi coach Natalie and guys and girls out there I really need your help. My ex is the one who broke up with me and I did the no contact rule. Ive been doing it for 10 days only. The reason is she messaged me. ( I know that I am not supposed to respond during contact ) but the reason I responded was because she was seeking comfort. She was really emotionlly unstable, she said that she's very tired and etc. So there I replied. I tried being polite and kept motivating her. ( so we're kinda friends now) but I found the reason why she was talking to me. The reason is because she found someone a few days after we broke up. She said she needed someone to hold on to thats why she did that. But the guy was just not into her at all. Now she told me that the guy broke her heart. And I was at awe because how could she do that and tell me all those things like nothing happened to us. She is really talking me like we're hardcore friends. Hello love advice TV. I've been watching your videos for quite a while now and maybe you guys can help me out in this situation. So to explain my position I met this girl back in highschool, specifically freshmen year, sophomore year came around and we dated for about 9 months. She became my first love. I genuinely loved her, she would always tell me the same thing, she was everything to me. We were on and off over the summer break and I had personal problems at home so it was hard for me to give her any attention. She ended up dumping me via text and i remembered i begged and pleaded not to but she did. I ended up cussing her out over text. And i remember the first week of Junior year I apologized right away she said it was okay and she was sorry too. That same year she dated a guy right after the convo we had, That same year she moved and dated a different guy. Then senior year comes back and leaves that guy for a different guy. While she was doing whatever she does I was always thinking about her all the time. I honestly never cared for someone so much before. So after senior year she is still with this guy. When college started I had her in my math class. We both made eye contact and it became awkward. From my peripheral I saw her do a double take. The next week I heard that she dropped out of college. Now I'm here thinking what did I do wrong? I should also mention we did not end on bad terms. Should I reach out to her even if she is with this guy or should I do no contact. Another thing I forgot mention I do not have her number or Snapchat. I know her insta but I do not follow her. What can I do??

My long distance girlfriend is suffering with anxiety and depression, spoke to adrian last time in a comment but a lot of stuff happened since then. Basically we tried becoming friends again too early and there was a lot of resentment between us. I said some very stupid things a year ago twice that I regretted very much. I've said sorry every time she's brought it up and she just can't forgive me for it. She's been having a existential crisis ever since I said it and I couldn't help her with it. She's said now that I was only with her cause of her mental illness like I was taking advantage of her and blocked me everywhere. I said some things like I don't want to be with her anymore after that out of anger and she's said the same. I feel awful and have no way of contacting her now. I made mistakes but I don't deserve to be tortured over it. I know she'll miss me and I miss her. Is there any chance that she'll contact me again in the future cause of missing me? She's just completely changed since we broke up over not thinking we had a future. She's felt relieved she said and it's just so fucking frustrating that it has to end this way after we met 2 weeks ago last time. Things look grim and I don't know what to do anymore.
