Get a chance review the Solar EQ scooter from Solar Scooters, thanks.

I'd like to see how someone explained to police that this is a sit down scooter and not some type of motorized mini-bike? Police here would confiscate and impound that thing in a heartbeat if you tried to ride it on major streets/roads. (If you didnt have a motorbike license)

That what I’m worried about myself I live Maryland 🤔🤔

I’m hoping this looks stupid enough for police not to pull me over here in the uk. Already mess around on my scooter going 35 on roads and nobody has stopped me yet.

I live in the state of Massachusetts, technically we already have a problem with people riding those gas scooters however they please. I've obtained mine 2 weeks ago and have passed by dozens of police cruisers that go off on their daily patrol. Pretty much as long as I don't gain much attention riding like an idiot like others around here, they allow me to ride however I please. I also keep the scooter on mode 3 which tops around 30 mph. I've tuned the launch to avoid having the tires spinning as shown in the video. The only problem I have is that there's no ignition key to start the scooter however they do have a password start that's a 4 pin password. If 35mph is enough then I would highly recommend the non pro instead since I naturally prefer to ride in the streets as I have on my Dualtron Eagle Pro. I also like to confess I have no M class license (just a regular D class) so either way, I wouldn't look forward for having even a short chat since it's hard to fight your case for this scooter compared to a stand scooter.

Even if you had a motorcycle license you can't register it so it's unrideable on the street.
@Rachiou077 Жыл бұрын
@@tonyrappa4611 genuinely depends about how your local PD feels about it. I have yet to been pulled over by any officer in my state since I just drive within speed limit at all times. Key difference tho is that's how my state is like, it's different for every state due to laws. My state barely enforces the laws when it comes to EV scooters and bikes. Perfect reason for me to just invest in one and never regretted it so far.

I have this scooter and it will do over 50mph. The highest top speed l've seen is about 55mph on a flat. l live in the states in PA and l haven't had any issues with police they all tend to ignore me. l mostly ride pretty conservatively though as l don't ride above 35mph. In reality the Road Runner Pro is so small it really doesn't look like a serious vehicle even mopeds are larger then the thing. As long as you don't ride like an idiot and obey the road rules l don't think anyone will really have any issues. This does depend on the area you live in as well as the country you live in. Here in the states most cops have better things to do then worry about vehicles under 300lbs.

Have you swapped out the rear suspension? How long did it take before it was delivered?
@zeppast Жыл бұрын
@@yo-sefakimbey7009 No I haven't swapped out the rear suspension yet I've been too lazy lol. I need to buy a small motorcycle jack/left to do it first. Mine was part of the 3rd batch and it was pre ordered so it took around a week and a half maybe 2 weeks to get to me if I remember correctly. Since there is no need to pre order it anymore I would imagine it would take 2 days to ship then another 2 days to be delivered so 4 days if you live in the states.
