Very interesting analogy since I rescued my 2 step kids from a whole flurry of narcissists and an unsafe home. It's just like you said... my son ran around breaking hearts, demanding his "needs" be met, and never felt pain unless it was his own, and my daughter stiffens and says "What?" any time I so much as sigh. She showers me with compliments and thanks so much that I don't even know how she really feels. Both sides are sort of sad since both feel like barriers to a real relationship.

Very true! The Scapegoat usually becomes the empath and the golden child becomes the narcissist. The narcissistic parent coaches and trains the golden child to be like him/her. It's extremely unhealthy for children, yet they do not understand these dynamics and unfortunately both the scapegoat and even the golden child suffer a lot.

This is my brother and I. He became a narcissist supreme full of hatred and I became the extreme empath with no sense of self. A well known musician once told me "you're always on everyone else's side so you walk into every situation already a loser 2-0."

Someone spoke once about that NOTHING MUST DISTURBIG/HURTING US! something like peace of The Bible...so all it's hurting/desturbing us is a wound that we need to heal it. 💗

Sometimes it's like I'm forcing people to reflect back that it's something wrong with me. And then I'm blaming them for being a bad person which satisfies my ego😬😂

Thanks so much for sharing. It feels so truthful. The shamepart is also so interesting. So important for empaths to hear. Also the way you think about others and that you then manifest it all the time. They always say life is a game and that irritates me, because I think we make it hard for eachother, but when you look at it in this way it is quite funny that you manifest it yourself with your old believesystem. It is so interesting that you realy only have to change yourself and nobody else has to change around youand then you will be in peace. Powerful talk.

How to recognize if it's shame that is making you quit the situation or firm boundary and standing up for yourself, that forcing you to leave.

What about animal empaths? My friend and i are both animal empaths.understand animals, she had a 501 c to help animals, years ago,i did my trap nueter return on all ferals from2009- 2022, but one thing we both feel totally in common is people were mean, and are mean when it came to helping animals and our organizations a lot of the time,in small mountain town we live in.why and what do we do? I have a lot of anger built up from people not helping, people being assholes when we were trying to help the animals,a lot of people made it harder on us.what are your thoughts on this please😊😊

I’ve found that breathing meditation is a great start. Then focus on the feeling you want to be free from. Send it to the ether and you will be able to see the why.

I found great value in this video as it helped me gain clarity on my feelings of anger following a recent break up from a real covert narcissist. I understand now WHY love bombing made me feel so loved and I that the connection I felt with this individual was not genuine love, but rather a familiarity with the energy of my mother. I have come to acknowledge that the relationship met his unconventional needs and my need to feel loved, wanted, and seen. This realization has allowed me to understand my own tendency to seek external validation for my inner emotions, and that just like my ex partner, I have been incapable of regulating my inner world. This has helped me cool the VULCANIC ANGER I felt towards my ex. I am grateful for this video Aaron. X
