Emperor - Battle for Dune - House Harkonnen - "There Can be Only One"

Combined Mission Briefings of House Harkonnen - From the Computer Game "Emperor - Battle for Dune" The Mission briefing for the assaults on House Ordos and House Atreides are both included.
I chose the side of Prince Gunseng because he was the least annoying of the two pretender princes. (Copec is such a god awfully offensive moron I still had the urge to shoot the monitor whenever he appears!) . Size still matters with house Harkonnen. Their units are quite powerful but are definately hampered by an acute lack of mobility.
Personally I found the best missions to be the civil war mission between the two brothers.

God the Harkonnen cutscenes were the best in this game. The Baron, Copec, Gunseng and ESPECIALLY the Mentat are all delightful characters. :D

No it's Rakhan Harkonnen. This is an alternate timeline to the original dune series, still has all the major factions, but different characters. Vladamir doesn't exist in this time line.

With the Padishah Emperor dead the Landsraad is thrown into Chaos and Discord, I doubt they can enforce most laws at the moment. The 3 Great Houses Atriedes, Ordos, and Harkonnen are racing to place their leaders as the New Padishah Emperor the later two of which will use any and all means to achieve it.

In the prelude to Dune book series one of the Bene Gessirit Reverend mothers visits the Barons palace on geidi prime to ask for a favor but she is raped by him, during the rape as revenge she uses her body to create a disease to infect him which causes him to get sores and get fat and waste away.

I cant exactly recall , its been awhile , but I think she came to get something off the baron, perhaps some genetic material, like a sperm sample but it went wrong and she got raped instead. It gave the same result as it made the Kwisatz herderach. In the process she used her body to create a neurodegenerative disease which would make him bloat out real fat.

Wasn't a big fan of the gameplay itself... but man those cut-scene really draw you into them. No matter which house you picked, you had a great time... Loved the Harkonen story the most tho... I hope for more dune films in the future... we already got up to Children of Dune, time to move up to the nezt ones =) (or create more fiction the likes of this game...)
