Emperor Belos's Arc: The Owl House's Current Big Bad Follows Eda's Lead

Emperor Belos rules the Boiling Isles with an iron fist. As The Owl House has shown us though, he has difficulty ruling his own body. This is something Eda has some experience with, and in the most recent episodes she's experienced something of a breakthrough.
Depending on how The Owl House progresses we may see Belos faced with a similar choice. Is he the kind of guy to take it though? How pessimistic is The Owl House willing to be?
