Nice! I have never heard of you guys, but will definitely check out some albums. Good riffage. I actually ordered 2 1x15/1x12XL bass cabs from Emperor last week, one in electric red and one in electric blue. It’s going to be a long wait, but will be worth it no doubt! Spoke with Craig, he helped me out, good guy. Going to do an experiment and put a bass speaker in the 15 and a guitar speaker for the 12, then run stereo and see what crushing madness will ensue...cheers!

Sounds great. Gonna check out some other stuff on the channel too. I do have a question though. Probably dumb, but I'm not very versed when it comes to gear and such. I've been interested in getting an Emporer cab for a bit now. When it comes to ohms, does getting 8 or 16 matter a lot? Would it be better to get 16, or will 8 be fine no matter the amp you get? Sorry if a dumb question, but looking online hadn't helped much I suppose. Thanks. 🤘💀

Thanks for checking out the video! No problem at all, just depends on your amp. Most guitar cabs are either 8 or 16 ohms.

Why didn’t you go w four/six swamp thang speakers?

The swampthings are briter, crunchier and a more present sounding speaker so they kinda take care of the highend. And the Texas Heats are dark more bass heavy less present . So using the 2 speakers together covers more ground and makes the cab sound fuller.

@@orion10x no problem, I've herd Greg uses JBLs in his cabs ? But I'm not 100 percent about that. Texas Heats have the most bass I've played so far. 15s sound fuckin thunderous too. Ted Webber Werewolfs 80 watt 15s are amazing too.
