hello! This question of mine ... it might sound childish ... but ... here it goes ... if i have a 60 watts speaker cabinet connected into a 20 watts amp head ... will this increase the volume ? or just gives a bit more headroom to the sound coming of the 20watt amp head ?!!! i'm asking cause my tube combo amp ... went to repair ... and it will take quite a long time do be repaired .... and meanwhile ... i'm seeing the options i might have ... to ease my "pain" ... i mean my wait ... ;) Thanks from Portugal

it wont increase the volume. from my understanding, speaker wattage just means how much power they can handle before distorting/failing.
