Oliver knows more than he lets on I think. He knows Americans can't take the truth though. I admire what he's done with Kuznick especially, the book is an excellent resource for finding even more accurate history. Mr. Stone is not a spin doctor, a type person my mother warned me about growing up. One of her ancestors is Elizabeth Cady, married to one of the Co-founders of the Republican party of course! Gore Vidal covers what happened then well in 1876.
