Also, what is everyone using for a PC6 map for Empire’s big 3 kit?

I'm looking to get the big 3 on my Raptor, but I don't want it to be super loud. You didn't rev up the engine with the quiet cores installed how much does it make a difference when riding with and without the quiet cores. Did you have the bike tuned by a professional with a dyno? Did you have the tuner check if their is a power difference with the quiet cores installed vs not? Do you have the optional spark arrestors?

I actually ended up with a completely different setup. I went with the Barkers dual exhaust much quieter and no CEL due to speed sensor.

Do you have a video of the new setup? Can you share?

Empire says that 2021 and 2022 Raptors must run the speed sensor and use their heat shield over the sensor plug. It cannot be removed. ECU damage may result otherwise… everyone agree? Any comments?

That’s why I removed the pipe completely. Was disappointed empire would not do anything about it other than say dent the pipe or live with the code. I quickly sold them and went another route.

Yes code came on the next time I rode it. Empire had no suggestions other than saying it “should be fine” dent the pipe if you want to use the sensor or cover it with heat tape.

Im wanting to order the same kit from empire. Can it be installed on a stock 2021 raptor 700r se? Is it worth the money?

It’s loud and it turns on the check engine light. I swapped to barkers so I could run the speed sensor.

I have heard some people say it put the bike in limp mode. That never happened to me but it definitely set the light on.

Yes it is necessary. Anytime you open up the exhaust you will need fuel maps adjusted.
