That was a great breakdown Bedros. I spent 4 years in the Mankind Project because of a few missions I had and I needed the guidance and support they offered. I was going through some serious post trauma stress after a decade as a heroin addict (at the time about 5 years in) and while I was there with those guys went through a few more serious traumas and losses in my life. In the end, because I wasn’t too sure how to help myself get through such a massive emotional breakdown and teach myself how to process that work and Intigrate it all into my life, the men in my circle succumbed to insulting me and disrespecting me. I was in a deep amount of shame a pain and even now, 2 years after walking away from that bitch of an organization and the useless “men” I trusted to teach me how to help myself, I realize why they weren’t able to help me. One of those reasons is because they haven’t done the serious work that I showed up to do (they do imaginative work, which I started to really realize after just over 2 years of learning what they were spinning), the 2nd among many more is because they don’t have this list. It took me some time away from attending those men’s circles to realize the severe ineptness and lack of accountability and a long list of defects I’m now taking a deeper look at within myself because that’s another adept quality that I needed as a way of guiding me to get where I wanted to go within myself... after 4 years of letting those assholes spin me in circles doing “rounds” I’ve resorted helping myself and doing it all the hard way, by my fucking self and KZbin. Thanks for putting this out here

Omigoodness! I am so glad you showed up in my feed, Bedros. Everything single thing you say in this video is #TRUTH! I am 4th generation American Irish. American is first in my self description because this country allows me to thrive and be what my family could have never achieved in our country of origin. My loyalty is to God and country. While I am proud of my Irish ancestry (for the most part) I identify with the American dream much more strongly. America only works if we bring the best here and continually strive to improve in every way imaginable. And yes, we must start imagining better things than the current status as a society. Morals, systems, industry, business, technology, humanitarianism, Constitutional government controlled by the people, fair and non-biased judicial system, etc. I would never want to work for anyone but myself. I will never have a tougher boss or a better boss. Thank you for the comments on how to raise up men. Sorely needed reminder.

Bedros, great episode - really enjoyed this. I’m an only child raised by a single mother. Any recommendations on books or programs that can help me learn how a man should be, act, think, etc? I love my mom and I know she did the best she could, but there things missing in my masculine programming, and I want to fill the gaps and correct my shifted paradigm to be more masculine focused.
