Played around with it yesterday when it came out. Got a naturally weak team, of course, and went to see what a raid would be like. First team I came up against had 4 5-star dragons and 1 4-star. Oh well. Same old, same old.

Ouch 😂 so far my raids have been pretty tame tbh. I know things will ramp up with time but like whizkid said. Whales will Whale 😅 I'm enjoying the process and just being able to potter along at my own pace. Haven't really made use of the assists yet but I'm hopping those will be good for farming etc once levelled.

Knowing this was coming I'd accumulated enough gems to do a 10 pull. Got exceptionally lucky and pulled 6 4 stars. No 5s, but I'm not complaining. I don't intend to spend very much money, if any, on it, but I'll spend some time. :) I don't hate it, at least. Very interesting news about the new War types. I am looking forward to that.

Wow that's a great haul for a 10x i have done a couple atm just the 1 4 star and 5 rares so you definitely beat the odds. Definitely just a laid back in between project for now but I am enjoying the dragons so far and the 3s and 4s are actually pretty good 👍 👌 ☺️

@@McNaultyYT Yeah, I started to post this and had to stop and double-check that I hadn't actually done 20 pulls and misremembered... Because I don't know any of the dragons by sight, it didn't register how lucky I was at the time. It was just "Yep, that's a dragon. And that's a dragon. Oh look, another dragon.." ;)

I've spent about 20$ which was my budget as I just wanted to have fun but not break the bank. I got really lucky I'd say got lux and leafheart. Also some great 4s like shen li, sassy, xonder, and nimble wing. I will say this I got both 5 stars off silver coin pulls. Maybe that's just luck or maybe that's the best portal. Hmmmm u might be onto something there 🤔 ....my silver coins seemed better than the gems but then I've only done a couple and those coins are a biatch to earn 😅 Huuuuge congrats on Leafheart and Lux. I also got Sassy who seems like a nice little 4 star 🌟 cheers to Dragoning!🍻

If I had a dream team of Dragons: Doombringer, Stargazer, Marmora, Lux, Leafheart would be my choice. I agree with your ratings of Dragons.

I like the Stronghold's interface with Dragonpite, it's a breath of fresh air. When I don't have anything interesting to do in the Citadel, I'll go to the Dragons. I'm glad they're going to update the wars, because that's what I like most.

Progress is slow on dragons and i have no motivation to invest in that too. Im not interested in dragon raids and stuff like that. But lets talk wars: - bloody wars: its fine. Gonna be quite interesting - clover wars: chance for a hero to cast its special 2 times. Bad idea, a hit all fast tank will oneshot your team - insanity wars: total chaos. Nobody will understand whats happening.. Insanity & clover add another rng element to an already rng heavily based game. This i strongly dislike. The bloody war sounds fun though. They also said they are adding the tiebreak mechanic from raids to wars. This will be very good to prevent the timeout losses from heavy healer teams. Good idea. So bloody & tiebreaker good. The rest, bad.

Hi Darkwillow 👋 thanks for the comments. Some excellent points here on the war formats. I agree bloody format will be awesome. Stop all those nasty healer heavy defenses from wreaking havoc. As far as the clover 🍀 one i was thinking this might actually be good. My logic is that for a more defensive hero IE a CAttack Ailment Blocker Buffer etc (with exceptions like CDC summoning 2 lots of minions or 2xGrowth or wither) in many cases for Defensive heroes the 2nd cast may be redundant. But for attackers like Heavy Damage Dealers the 2x cast could be brutal. Yes it is RNG based but I still think k it could work. As for insanity effect 🤪 I agree 👍 that might not be the best idea but at least they are open to trying new things and that I am all for. Also the proposed titan amendments are well overdue and IMHO would be a welcome addition. Thanks again DW 👍👍👍

@@McNaultyYT oh clearly Clover will have many facets about it. Probably more interesting than other existing wars (i personally hate clense and arrows war the most). A Toon Vivica that heals everyone from 0 to full hp, casting twice will definetly be redundant. But other healers like Grimsteel (twice the growth) or even Nautica (double the mana gain) will be painful. I think the strategy for Clover will focus on damage dealing tanks, or tanks that give growth or effects that stack. So as with any war type, some heroes will shine more than others. The concept is interesting, what scares me is the rng part. Because we all know how revive, dodge and every rng effect seems to favor the defense. It feels like 100% chance for defense, and 0% for offense :)) We all have rng-ptsd from Mother North and rush wars from 2 years ago.. so anything rng is scary. I would be fine if clover would be like: "every 3rd skill casts twice". Like just take the rng out of it. But we'll see how it goes. The insanity one is gonna be the weird one. Clover will probably be fine. Ps: Thanks for reading my long comment ❤
