Hi Sir, thanks for your video, I am working in a company, we have to pay ESIC on behalf of Service provider, in case they are not paid, i have a doubt here, as per applicability - 10 or more employees should be employed, the vendor (Service provider) is saying we have only 4 employees, so we are not applicable to register under ESI act, in this case should our company should pay on behalf of vendor for applicable service? pls can you share the video to clear about my doubt?

Since the past 1 year we have stopped all work in our establishment. No of employees since last 1 yr is down to only 3. These 3 employees may continue for say 1 more year. Monthly PF & ESI returns are being regularly filed & paid. We do not hope to restart work in future also. Should we surrender our PF & ESI Registrations? Is it possible? Sir Plz Clear my doubt... 1) Suppose a Contract labour ESIC salary is Rs.20,000 in Jan 2020 but from 1st Feb his salary increases to 25,000/- then as per the act the contract labour will continue to contribute on 25,000/- till the completion of Contributing period i.e March 2020 is it correct? 2) From the Month April 2020 the contract labour will not eligible for ESIC bcz he has crossed the ESIC wage ceiling of Rs.21000/- also ends his contributing period. But as per the act if any employee contributes during his contributing period (in this case till March 2020) he will be eligible for benefit during benefit period (in this case 1st July 2020 to 31st Se 2020) then my question is this being a employer when we should take Employee Compensation? at the end of Contributing period? or at the end of Benefit Period? bcz ESIC is no more applicable.
