As employee, I was loyal to this particular organization, i increase the productivity up to 98%, but I request a different position when they changed my job duties, but they never meet my request, so I know choice to leave,

Employers treat employees like trash; thus, there is no loyalty between employers and employees.

Thank you for advocating for the workforce on this issue. I want to conquer the world so to speak, aka my aspirations are high. My goal one day is to be a CIO whether it’s for a small business or a Fortune company. I understand how much climbing has to be done. But at my second job out of college I busted my butt for 3 years, drowning in work, taking on responsibilities of higher job roles (including my manager’s responsibilities while he’s on vacation). Yet I have had zero promotions and get the usual 3% merit raise even though that is not in line with the market and drops me behind pace with inflation. I’m jaded as hell. This has only thought me a hard lesson that I should leave passion out of my work. Do the job as described and move up to a new job every 2-4 years if I’ve lost momentum. This is damaging and no one big enough seems to want to help attack the problem. Shareholders and C Suites care more about their pockets and choose to line them during the pandemic while the entire 24k employee base at the company has worked hard all year and met goals still. It’s shameful and top level leadership is greedy.

Why would an employee that has no financial stake or benefit in a companies well being go above and beyond for said company? Thats just silly.

Thanks a lot Kyle, for posting this video which I think is a very necessary topic for the employer community. I'll make sure that it reaches my network on Linked-in. Thanks again.

It’s one thing to have mass layoffs during 2008 for economic reasons but in 2020 (health)? Let’s just say covid has changed the game when it comes to employee loyalty moving forward in a negative way.

That's a great point (the video was recorded pre-covid). Although some businesses legitimately could not make it without layoffs due to forced shut downs or significant downturns in business; I believe many companies use these situations as an excuse to reduce staff that is unwarranted. Unfortunately when this happens it continues to prove a lack of loyalty from the employers.

@@EmployerBlueprint Employee loyalty is 💀. Covid was the deathblow

It’s pretty simple. You treat me right, I will treat you right and be “loyal”. You treat me like crap and demand loyalty and pay me little to nothing, then don’t count on me staying. Bad work environment, low pay, and no loyalty to employees leads to a high turnover rate.
