In the vast majority of employment discrimination and retaliation cases, companies will never get real and make a reasonable settlement offer unless you file a lawsuit.
Even once you file a lawsuit, you cannot maximize your position in these cases unless you are willing to go the distance. That means you have to put in the work and trust the process.
No lawyer is going to do this and 100% commit to your case unless you have a REAL case. Real cases mean your legal rights were violated. Blatant discrimination and/or retaliation. Clear cut. Strong facts. Cases are about rights, not about feelings.
But if you have a real case, 90% of the time, the only way to get a fair resolution is to file a lawsuit and put in the work. Buckle up.
Jonathan Pollard is the founding attorney of Pollard PLLC. The firm represents in employees and executives in all aspects of employment law. The firm has offices in Fort Lauderdale, Miami, and St. Louis and can be reached at 954-332-2380.

When I was 7 years old, I would say the world isn't fair and I'm going to do something about it. And wicked folks would laugh at me and say yeah right. Well, here I am!

I’m in litigation with my lawyer, to tell you the truth I know 45 percent contingency fee is a lot but you have to understand that these lawyers are like you and me, we both need to eat. The time and the money is significant investment specially if involves multiple legal claims and I am very thankful that he took my case.

45% is totally reasonable in employment discrimination cases. It’s always an uphill battle.

Same. I trust the (career) lifetime of experience and expertise they have that I don't, no matter how many KZbin videos I watch lol.

Great video! As an HR Professional with years of experience, I see so many employees who don't understand the difference between not liking something that an employer is doing vs. a violation of their rights. The two simply are not the same! I talk about something similar on my channel and discuss what employees can do when they are frustrated about things in the workplace.

You had me at..... ALWAYS BE SUING!! What you said about low hanging fruit settlement attorneys is so true. To date, that's why I'm moving forward as Pro Se until I can find an attorney that matches my warrior spirit, because i already laid a pristine foundation. Poised to establish legal precedent in the 4th circuit for challenging arbitration where numerous attorneys said it was a waste of time to do so cause..... the court always sides with arbitration. Smh. I'll keep the ship afloat until the right representation presents itself. I NEED A RENEGADE!! A CRUSADER. ❤❤❤

I worked for a university for 16 years…. I was forced out by micromanaging after returning from FMLA (mental disability- PTSD, anxiety, adhd, depression)…. I resigned out of fear bc they tried to say I was being dishonest abt my time although I was not able to clock in and out… and regret resigning and wish they would have fired me… I was told I was rehireable and applied many times to the same position and have not been called. Thoughts??

Great things take time and involves a lot of commitment. This absolutely includes legal representation in cases of this nature. This must be extremely complex. @Jonathan, what is the statue of limitations on employment related discrimination cases?

No. I don't advise people I don't represent. If you have a really strong case (and have watched my videos explaining what types of cases we take and what a strong case looks like), then you can contact our office. We take cases nationwide if they are strong enough.
