Great interview. I totally agreed with being angry once an individual wakes up from a cult, It is a process indeed. It is not so much that one wakes up, but when you realized that you have been lied to and manipulated. It is an anger that comes to an individual. There are different levels and it all depends on how much the individual put in to the organization. I was always independent, when to college and also started my own business. When an individual is independent the elders becomes a little cautious with how they communicate with you. It is almost like the become intimidated by once accomplishments. Just like the gentle ent here once I left. No one came to ask me anything or checked up on me. The best revenge is to keep living awesome, travel and enjoy life. Thank You for sharing

@Omar Seneriz The "ANGER" will always be there like a set red wine stain on a white table cloth. Scrub, boil, heavy wash as much as you like , you will NEVER get rid of thst stain. Two songs by Wilf Carter may be pertanent here. 1) Wasted years. 2) A sinners prayer. To lessen the pain I did everything the WTS (WARLOCK'S TOWER of SINS) preached not to do. Clubs with mixed genders, dingle, widowed or divorced. Clubs that had activities which interested me. Today as I read these posts I have great anger due to the dogmatic teachings of these modern day heretics, blasphemers, practicers of FALSE RELIGION. Wolves in sheep's clothing beguiling the gullable into a false sense of being wanted. Wanted until they ask questions the Elders can't or won't answer. Or, their money runs out.

This is the one of the best ExJw interviewers ever. It is not about being bitter about Watchtower. It is not about blaming Watchtower for people not doing what they can do. It is about focusing on self and growth. Thanks for this video. ✌🏿.

After fading and seeing some ex JW groups so full of anger, it scared me away from actually researching the organization and I wasted a long time feeling guilty. Then I found Empowered Ex Jws Empowered Minds. What a refreshing change and TRUE growth. I learned exactly what I needed to get over the guilt from Rodney’s videos and also Jack Grey. I see others in groups that have been stuck in anger for decades! I try to steer them toward the empowered group. Keep helping people and thank you so much 🤗

Vevian, thank you for having Rodney on for an interview. He and you have reminded me today of pursuing my gifts and letting go of anger/frustration I have not so much with the JW's and my family I grew up in but with my youngest child and what we deal with him on a daily basis. I have to remember to stay happy and be thankful for the joy I feel every morning with the birds I feed every day!!

Thanks so much. I love the Empowered Group. It's refreshing to have ways to reconcile without the anger and sometimes hurtful comments that are part of the other EXJW groups. I found too, that when I reached out to some people who were hurting on these other groups - I would get backlash from some members in the group. My comments have always been positive, move forward in small steps, look for your joy and passion. The more you stay in a state of anger, and you keep looking back you don't grow. You stay frustrated and miserable. Again, thanks for this!

I 💜 love Coach Rod! He was my lifesaver when I was waking up from the JW nightmare! *JWs are heavily indoctrinated to believe the Watchtower Organization is their salvation! The JW's believe everything the Governing Body ( "Anointed" Leaders ) says because they are captive of a concept. They really believe they're in the only true religion on earth, and they're the only ones preaching a lifesaving work. They believe they will see their dead love ones resurrected here on Earth. Also they have the hope to live forever on a paradise Earth! All of these things are very comforting to them. The world in their mind is corrupt and controlled by satan the devil.. NOTHING is good in it!! It's tough, but a JW has to experience his own "personal internal Armageddon"... meaning they will have to have some internal shake-up in their own mind and feelings about an issue. Once this happens they will start to think critically and the veil over their eyes will slowly start to be removed.

I've got 1,652 videos of my discussions with British JW elders over the phone or on zoom, uploaded to KZbin, and then sorted out into various playlists according to UK geographical region. About 500 of these videos are discussions on various chapters of their book: Enjoy Life Forever.

Wao.Great to know you also was helped by Anthony Robbins Awaken the giant within. The same book was given to me by my uncle. Through reading it. It steamed me forward when I was TOTALLY LOST into what next now. I was full of questions about this 'truth'. I was able to leave my Jw aunts house and go and look for work and accommodation hence the ability to leave the religion and be independent to research the org better. Anthony takes you step by step .tells you make that call now before moving to next chapter and with that I got friends , job and accommodation.

Lol! I was the one with 6 kids and ignored. Although I was married my husband was a truck driver and usually gone. Looking back I think he was a PIMO. It was easy for me to leave because no one wanted to go out in service with all my kids. My kids were good kids. They are all extremely shy and introverts bit that didn't matter. There was one older pioneer sister that would work with me. She helped me so much. But eventually she died.

Not necessarily angry. Felt relieved to discard stereotyped opinion about apostates- they are not evil or mentally diseased. However, relationships can be difficult to navigate and what one does for a living and finances are affected. Not that easy to overcome or forge new paths. Do contemplate interests p,possibilities.

So to be nor lost in explication s ,if one has God first in life, he must go along with him follow him all his rules as a child follow parents ,that the point called zero point where every thing can move fowardly to benefits ,but by the way should nothing interfere which is wicked as if things happen you should ask help to God through elders ,it's a provisional decision-making to solve deterioration of faith and other gaps ,we must always follow rules..to win everything. Bye.
