I loved when I turned 40. Prior to that I was just so consumed with worrying about everyone and everything. It was exhausting. Once I turned 40 my give a crap meter broke lol, in a good way. I know how to say no and to pay attention to my emotional well-being. At 46 now, yes my body has changed but I'm proud of every fine line, crinkle and dimple. 😂 I hope your milestone birthday will be amazing and a beautiful start to the next stage of your life. This is so timely … I just got home from getting my hair cut and my hairdresser mentioned that she was 21 and went on a trip to Europe with friends and had a blast and I was like 😮‍💨 I’m heading home to my husband and 10 month old and we’re planning on grabbing an early dinner 😂 but I was 21 once and I took the trips, and now I’m just in a new stage of life and I truly can appreciate where I’ve been, where I am, and where I’m going ❤️ Thank you for this reminder

I am turning 37 tomorrow after a year of loss and heartbreak. I am realizing the good in goodbyes and that the expectations for a woman’s life (kids, marriage) by a certain age are arbitrary and placed upon us by society. Our happiness and worth isn’t dependent on a checklist of what we should be by a predetermined timeline. That being said… it isn’t always easy to see this. This video is so healing for me. I'll comment again. I remember my grandfather when he was 96 telling me that the weirdest thing was that it all seemed so short from that end of things. He said it seemed shorter and shorter as his life progressed. He made it to 97 in good health.I started watching you when in my 40's. I thought you were way younger. You look young for your age like I'm told I do. You've a great face. The best thing for keeping the face young is facial exercises and face yoga. And eating clean as well.

I’m 46 almost 47 and still not sure what I want to be when I grow up. You’re right it is a privilege getting older. Covid almost took that away from me. My give a darn on some things has gotten shorter but still in some areas gotten bigger and wider. Happy birthday
