Empowering Ghana's Future: Victoria Mends on FireflyIO's Impact in STEM Education

Victoria Mends, a third-year Biomedical Engineering student at Academic City (Ghana), STEM advocate, and Co-Founder of FireflyIO, was recently featured in an interview with Berla Mundi on TV3. Her company was among the 12 selected out of 130 applicants for this year’s MEST Africa and Mastercard Foundation EdTech Fellowship programme.
FireflyIO, a STEM-focused enterprise based in Ghana, is dedicated to providing STEAM education, particularly for underprivileged students. They also organize the Ghana Robotics Competition (GRC) and manufacture locally produced robots.
