Catherine J. Tabaka is the CEO of Matrix Medical Network, a role she assumed in July 2022 after serving as interim CEO since February 2022. She joined the company in 2021, bringing with her nearly 30 years of experience in organizational management, operational and financial performance, and leading transformative change.
Tabaka holds a Master Black Belt and is a Six Sigma Quality Leader, a CAP (Change Acceleration Process) Coach, and has completed the prestigious GE Crotonville Leadership & Management Training. She earned her MBA from the University of Connecticut and a Bachelor of Arts from École de Management in Lyon, France. Fluent in English, French, and German, Tabaka is well-equipped to navigate complex, multi-national challenges.
🎙️⚕️ ABOUT DR. MICHAEL CANTOR
Dr. Michael Cantor is a geriatrician and attorney, currently serving as Chief Medical Officer at Matrix Medical Network and CEO of The Cantor Group. He has extensive experience in value-based care, quality improvement, and care management for healthcare providers and health plans.
Previously, Dr. Cantor was Chief Medical Officer at Uber Health and has also held roles as CMO for Bright Health Plan, CareCentrix, and the New England Quality Care Alliance (NEQCA). His recent work includes advising on pharmacy-health system engagement, developing strategies for healthcare analytics, and launching a Medicare Advantage plan. He continues to make house calls monthly and has practiced in diverse healthcare settings.
Dr. Cantor trained in internal medicine at Beth Israel Hospital in Boston and completed his geriatrics fellowship at Harvard Medical School. He holds degrees in law and medicine from the University of Illinois.
