Thank you all for watching this video! I appreciate the feedback and support ❤️. BTW I didn’t say this in my video but I honestly think T-Pain should be in the same position as DJ Khaled is today. He reps Florida and he is actually a talented producer, DJ, singer, and writer. The industry failed TPain.

Now let me get this straight...they said he messed up music because he used auto tune but they still using it and working with other artists that use it. He helped all these people make hits and they turn on him because of something Jay Z said. That's a slap in the face. They are all a bunch of followers. They were really just jealous because he had so many hits circulating at one time...crazy.

No, this is jealous at its finest because they don’t sound good with autotune or cannot rap along with autotune and rather than admit that it is something that they can’t touch people with in the music industry will shit on it. Like sold them when you find media artist that are actually better than auto tune to hate auto tunes like Christina Aguilera is a rarity and even her type of singing has died out as far as what she does on the track so I could see her hating on another niche thing back to popularity away from it. The rap industry is very egotistically that is what I’ve learned from all the documentaries and interviews.🙄 And for reasons I cannot understand because 40% of the people in the rap industry right now are one hit wonders, the other 40% all sound like everyone else in this current Wave, none of them really stand out, and the remaining 20% is held by people who will make it to the next wave but then that number will be slashed by a third as to the ones that have longevity beyond that.🤷🏾‍♀️ i’ll cells and collect your bag because your time in the spotlight is very very limited. Social media can extend that if you pull a lot of shenanigans but then you have to live with those shenanigans.

They hate you when you're at the top, to the point where you can lose your way and give up. The truth of it all is, they were hating, because they saw themselves losing, and T-Pain, being the nice and real person that he is, took the fall because his buddies were suffering for what he felt was "his fault," which gave him his "sabotage of success." The Industry fell into the herd mentality, and the algorhythm of music business knew that he was not worth showing anymore. If only he showed more arrogance, and said "That ain't my fault" he would have still been up there right now. That's why Jay-Z is still relevant to this day, he made the persona that he is "the shit" when we all knew he got bodied before.

T-Pain seems so humble and genuine, makes you wonder whether he is just too pure for the business and hence was taken advantage of... loved the video! Also: I know there are other shady people and moves mentioned in the video but why does Jay-Z have to be so mean sometimes? It's like he enjoys humiliating people or something

@@iLoveLeatherNYC I agree, I believe in the video T-Pain admitted the leak was a result of someone in his camp. Usher more than likely was devastated by the missed opportunity that would’ve been legendary with MJ. Whoa whoa whoa time out. No one ever copied Tpain. Artist were sampling autotune before Zap and Rodger. He played himself when he made a career of exclusively sampling to autotune only. Jay Zs 'death of autotune' was more about a genre who didn't care to completely reinvent. At their age we would have done anything to be the remote opposite of our parents in every way. It was odd to see the youth just remake a watered down version of us and call that rebellious. In an effort to let the culture evolve I will agree the previous generation thought he was a gimmick and never took anything about him seriously.

I hope he can make some good music and get on the charts. Or do the superbowl or something. He has enough hits and is overall loved by everyone like a Snoop or Missy. ( I think TPAIN and Missy should do the superbowl together)

I admit I grew tired of autotune as well but I loved when T-Pain did it. The music industry is so cruel.

Wow this was a really good video. I had no idea of the depth of his impact nor how the same industry that made millions off of him shunned him. I'm glad he is independent now and still doing what he loves. Thank you @empressive!

T-Pain was my high school. PERIODT! You couldn’t turn on the radio without hearing T-Pain. This man didn’t need a six pack or oiled up abs. Most of my classmates had him as a ringtone. He is a GOAT artist!

T-pain seems like a very kind and open person. There’s nothing like a humble celebrity.
