Tbh, I think everyone made poor decisions in this movie. The cops, the teachers, even the parents that took the school hostage.The end of the movie made it more understandable as to why they would go to such lengths, but I feel it would've been more effective if they called a search party and searched the whole school instead of taking it over. They would probably find her eventually. And the rest of the movie would probably play out like it did in the last 20 minutes or so.

Looking thru the comments, most of them seem to be saying - never let you kids out of your sight, there's evil round every corner - you can't do that - when you take them to school, or let them play at a friends house, etc you have to let them out of your sight. When I was a kid, after I had done my homework & chores, I was allowed to go anywhere I wanted, I had a great childhood, if I had to stay in the sight of my parents the whole time, what sort of miserable childhood would I have, and what sort of adult would I have become? If someone really wants to kidnap your child then they are going to find a way, no matter how hard you try to protect them. The moral of this movie for me, is never get a job which involves looking after someone else's kids, cos if something happens to them, their parents are gonna kill you!
@shalontehernandez67524 ай бұрын
I don't know how old you are or what era you were born in but when I was a child we were able to be out til the street lights came on, we didn't have cell phones,social media, or the internet. I cam from a different time. But in this present time you would be crazy to let your kids do what I was allowed to do without parents watching over you. Danger existed then but not as bad as it is now. You would have to be oblivious, neglectful and careless to think your kids can do what you describe without you being around. Nowadays you have to monitor their social media, online games chat , who they're hanging around etc..because these evil people have gotten more cunning and crafty with luring away children. Use wisdom with your kids and live in reality.

@@shalontehernandez6752 I'm 58, but if what you say is true, then that's really sad, and the world has become a very violent place, and I'm glad I never brought kids into this world. Girl no moral of the story is you'll never know who out to get kids it can be where you work , live etc .... And this movie right here is telling us that we just need to be more careful bc not one parent told them stay away frm strangers . But it happened at the school who would expect that 😅I mean I would but shii
@alwilson32043 ай бұрын
George Carlin use to talk about this, with parents overprotecting their kids to the place where they aren't allowed to do anything (but being a brat is OK). We use to have some freedom to run around and play army and ride bikes in the neighborhood and we played 'ghost in the graveyard' at night on weekends and stuff. Thank God, people aren't as evil as these movies make out and some parents overreact to any outside influence; babying them and going in debt to buy them everything, even though you do need to keep an eye on just what kids are up to day to day to some extent.
@alwilson32043 ай бұрын
@@shalontehernandez6752 That's one perspective, but not necessarily the case. A fair amount of the problem, as you state, is the kids themselves getting involved in so many questionable functions, letting strangers know their habits, etc., which probably does encourage more oddballs to commit crimes, although it can get exaggerated out of proportion as well and the kids are doing lots of dangerous activities becomes almost as bad as anything else.

Talking on the phone and not paying her children attention. Both of them could have been taken. You have to put 100% of the watch on your children while in public. You can't slack up at all. I'm also guilty of doing that. I had my Grandson in the playground and I wasn't paying attention. I was on my phone as well and when I looked up my grandson was gone. His Father came and got him and didn't say anything to me to teach me a lesson I was so frantic. Every day since that day I'm very very careful with children. I've definitely learned my lesson.

Dr. Shiva invented email when he was just 14yrs old and now he’s running for president but being censored. The Systems Science course changed the way I see the world and who’s in it. Children aren’t being taught to think anymore.., they’re being taught WHAT to think. Probably best I didn’t have children because I would have been like those parents.., stop at nothing for my child. But since I was abused as a child, I would have probably been overprotective and surely would have killed anyone who hurt my child. Bless you who have children.., they are the blessing.
