She wrote this about the guy next to her in the white suit. They had just broken up in the making of this album. AND interesting fact, he is the creator of the music to her lyrics in this song. He is a genius and created all the music behind FM sounds. Go Your Own Way is his song he wrote to her when they broke up and he sings lead on that one. It is also a classic. Their relationship has been mesmerizing over the years. To say the least.

First of all, Rumours is one of the best albums every put to vinyl. If it were a painting, it would be hanging in the Louvre. Second of all, as great as this song is, and it spent several weeks at #1, in my opinion, the best song on the album is The Chain, followed by Go Your Own Way, then Dreams. All of that said, the absolute best Fleetwood Mac song to react to is the Midnight Special version of Rhiannon. It is without a doubt one of the best live performances by a female artist. EVER kzbin.info/www/bejne/rZjQg5VpgtGjfrM Stevie is the only woman who has been inducted into the Rock n Roll Hall of Fame as both a member of a band, and a solo artist. You really should listen to the entire Rumours album. Stevie's first solo album, Bella Donna is also fantastic. Keep reacting to the Mac, they are amazing!

@@EmpressReacts It's hella messy to this day! A few years ago the band finally got fed up for good with Lindsay's diva antics and dictatorial style, and kicked him out of the band for good. When my daughter and I saw them in concert last year, Neil Finn (from Crowded House), and Mike Campbell (from Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers) had replaced Lindsay. It's a true testimony to Lindsay immense talent that it takes two guitarists to replace him, though!
@HollowGolem3 жыл бұрын
@@IBGECKO I mean, real talk, 75% of the most interesting parts of Fleetwood Mac were Lindsey. His songs just seem to resonate more than pretty much ANY of Christine's and about half of Stevie's, and he was definitely the most skilled instrumentalist of the band, by a long shot.

You should definitely review “Go Your Own Way” by Fleetwood Mac. This song is written for Lindsey Buckingham (the guitar player) after their breakup “Go Your Own Way” is written and sung by the guitarist. It’s his response to her and this song.
