I'd love to see more of your empties before they hit the recycling plant! I'm definitely running through skincare faster than makeup, and of my skincare, face oils, moisturizers, and sunscreens seem to go the fastest. Then it's toners/essences, oil cleansers, serums, and cleansers last, but that's because I bought a jumbo bottle and have been steadily working through it. It's the same with bodycare; I use moisturizers and sunscreen fastest, though now that it's cooler in my hemisphere my body sun protection comes from clothing rather than cosmeceuticals, and my jumbo bottle of bodywash is just now reaching the end after two years of steady use.

I’ve used a lot of glossier skin care items in the past years but has since moved on to more French pharmacy brands like Avene and La roache posay. Bobbi brown moisturizer is a must have! You should definitely try! Personally can’t stand thick moisturizer but this feels amazing especially underneath makeup

There used to be one TerraCycle location in my city that closed down so I was hoarding my empties, hoping for more options eventually, and now so many stores have got on board! 👍♻️ x

I love all your empties, I have found that u can take your Mac empties back to the counter and they will dispose of them for u. They also have refills a of Clarins shower gels these days so u can refill. I use little sample size containers when I do away, the rest go into normal recycling 😊 ❤. Great work

Hi, Matilda! That last empties video 2½ years ago was what got me to try the Jurlique rosewater mist. And like you, I've gone through many empties of that PLUS the Jurlique cleansing foam. I don't even have substitutes for those 2 steps in my skincare routine - they keep my skin soft and hydrated!

But I got two of their little eyeshadow palettes in Bluff and Heather, five of their blushes Storm, Spark, Haze, Eve, and Puff (since there was the Black Friday deal), a lipstick in the shade Fuzz, and also snagged their perfume since I’ve always been curious to try it! Also since there’s sales going on, just purchased for the first time from Merit and got a blush balm in Mood and lipstick in L’Avenue! Scented products often irritate my nose a bit, but the Heritage Store Rosewater is an exception. Refreshing and pretty. I am just about to empty a jar of Neutrogena Hydro Boost City Shield moisturizer and sunscreen, and the back up is ready to go. I am about 75% done with a CeraVe Eye Makeup Remover bottle that works quite well for me, too.

If you’ve tried it, what do you think of the Sol de Janeiro line?? I smelled a few of their sprays in a Mecca and my favourite was the hot pink one (can’t remember the name). And are the body care products any good? Also, your vids are AMAZING!!! So minimal and simplistic, but you can tell the amount of effort that’s put into each one. Snail Mucin is harvested in such a cruel way. They spray acid on the snails which makes they release the slime as a defence mechanism. I wish more people knew about this.

Sadly traditional methods of harvesting snail mucin were very cruel, but COSRX have information on their website about their process - their snails roam in a quiet, dark space and no pressure is put on them during mucin collection 🐌👍 x
