Just replaced our HVAc here in LV, due to inflation.. including labor and the unit, it cost us a whooping amount of money. It's crazy and what more of what you did Ave and Martin. But, no amount of money can give you happiness when you'll see the final renovation for your 1st lovenest.. Your time, efforts and money are all worth it! Such a lucky couple, Marve! ❤️❤️

Get a uratex foam find a factory near you and get the 12 inches thick and just ask someone sew a mattress cover, i’ve done than when we where still living in the Phils we got all our mattress from uratex factory and works well and last for decades it never sag at all. Way cheaper also. Nice touch of the house

Now I am already in Manila after 30 years of staying and working as a teacher I enjoy watching your Vlog to relieve my stress. The Father of my son is from Sorsogon long time ago. Now he is working in Quezon City with a good employer, my Aunt the owner of the house. Actually, he is taking care of my 95 yrs old Aunt. He is the cook and the caregiver. Before his employer was the owner. of the big land in San Jose Batangas. He was working there as a farmer and a caretaker.

Lola enjoyed watching the before & after of your renovation. Maganda. Ave, since you asked… yes, we did make mistakes when we renovated our kitchen about 15 years ago. #1 :white floor tiles. Should have chosen white but with streaks of grey maybe or beige. Instead of matte, maybe glossy(was concern that it might be slippery especially when wet… but, our friends floor tiles had glossy finish & they look beautiful). Our kitchen cabinets/ cupboards are also white (no regret here as to-date it is the” in “thing”. #2: dark green with tiny dots of white & black corian countertops - should have chosen granite in different color. Back splash are predominantly white but, with some decorative floral tiles. #3: Housing of the cabinet for the refrigerator should have been bigger & higher. A wonderful artist friend visited one day & told us that the room was “cold” because cabinets, floor, & walls were all white. Lol…even all the appliances, ceramic chandelier were white with gold arms(later chandelier light bulbs were covered with green hats). The glass kitchen table set had white 😆cushions. She returned next time with 2 gallons of paint. Mixed them & showed us how to faux paint the walls (like avocado green/tiny spots of white & light yellow, made us beautiful window treatments, & added lovely borders. To solve the problem of the white floor tiles, we bought area rugs of similar prints in front of the sink, refrigerator, & stove. No regrets with the white cabinets/cupboards. A friend of ours decorated their totally all white guests bathroom so beautifully with the bathroom accessories, window treatments, & area rugs. White & mirror just make the room much much bigger. After our renovation, there were loads of compliments. You & Martin will surely enjoy your home especially, when everything is done. 🤗 Wish you both all the best.😊

Are you planning to enclose the shower area with a glass enclosure to prevent the water from flowing out to the rest of the bathroom floor? That way the rest of the bathroom floor stays dry .

I loved the idea of sliding doors...it does save a lot of space...I do notice that there's no fan in the bathroom. Fan in the bathroom prevents too much humidy that can cause musty smell and molds.
