My Filipina wife and I (we are living in Canada) love your channel. In reference to this video, we both thought the rental price was overpriced. As a foreigner I would completely rule out this house because of the roosters next door crowing all day. I know it's common in the Philippines but it's a turnoff to most westerners looking for a home. The home is very basic but the pool is nice and the property is a good size. However, we still thought it was overpriced. A more reasonable rental price would have been 40,000 pesos a month. I assume this rental price does not include utilities and I imagine an older house like this, the air conditioning would easily escape to the outside. Keep up the great videos Pea!

i actually thought it was reasonable for the house this size with a pool . but of course you can probably find houses with similar level of comfort and cheaper . i´m planning to visit , i was always thinking of a hotel but this type of accommodation might actually be even better for a long time visit in the future .

Nice Pea. I definitely saved this video in order to have the contact and reference for when I transition to the Philippines. This home was nice and of consideration. The only fault I have is the second room with it's own bath, not having windows for circulation. and lack of a carport. Both could be easily remedied if I were to purchase the home. Hello Pea , that was brilliant very nice home , the only thing I was say its a shame they did not put mini split A/C in the other 2 bedrooms . The prices seem to be going up for home in the Philippines that would be $240K Canadian but still a very good price compared to here, the pool was a very nice touch . I find that even in the US, at least in my part, Gas stoves are preferred but the gas is connected to a city/town gas line in most parts. In the county you have huge outside tanks that you can pay for a company to refill.

We are currently building a new house out in the country, it will have a gas stove. We will have a buried 1000 gal propane tank for the stove, fireplace, and furnace. Very common.

Since it’s also where this agent is based (as well as me) it seemed like a good property to show. Do most places have a high ceiling like this house? Here in Hawaii I'm used to seeing 8ft high ones. It's probably because of building materials, plywood, drywall, being that length. I thought it was really nice how she mentioned "ten children", big families are a thing of the past. I come from a family with 5 siblings. And my Mom from a family with 8. I thought her talking about having lots of children wouldn't be anything she'd talk about 😁 $899 USD?!!!!! I payed $1500 for a one bedroom, 1 bathroom (it actually had a bath, most apartments here have only showers) apartment in a small building. No enclosed common area. Just the ground floor parking lot that you walked through to get to the key operated elevator. It was a secured building, but the parking lot was not! Things were stolen from there even with cameras. This HOUSE IS UNBELIEVABLE!!!😲🤯

Hi Pea, thank you very much for that interesting video. Good filming job of Lucy (I suppose) again! Just the roof would have been of high interest for me, because of rain water management. I am currently researching for opportunities for rent or property in PH. My instant thoughts on this particular property: It looks like a nice house, but the insulation seems to be very poor, with cheap single glass windows, so expect very high electricity bills if you rent that place. Also, the wall-break-through-AC is tending to be very ineffective and loud , so no good work room for silence lovers. What really made me laugh out hard, when Alma ordered "just give me a very expensive wine".... Clearly a wine "expert" 🙃😁🤣 Cheers from Europe!

Short answer: you don't want to (bank account). Is a reason pawn shops everywhere in Philippines. Interactive Brokers does business worldwide - and won't close your account if you don't have an American address.
