Your place is lush. So excited to see any unpacking videos. Lots of evergreen privacy trees or screens that can be decorated with solar fairy lights. BBQ. Kettlebells!!! Water rowing machine that makes the whooshing sound. The water moving looks so mesmerizing.

I live in the USA. I had to google, " What is an English bungalow?" It would be what we call in the US a "ranch" style. All living is on one floor. I am so happy for your sweet family. May you have many happy years there in your beautiful home.

I think your ‘pram space’ may be where the fridge/freezer should go. Unless there’s there’s built in ones. Or you put it in the end where your sofa or tables are going to go? Can’t wait to see you fill it.

British houses are so different from American houses. Everything is so compartmentalized. We only have doors on the bedrooms and obviously the front and back doors. You have a door into each room, Even the living room. I’m obsessed with it!

salty stuff Bungalows are all one floor and I think when the refer to a house they mean at least a two level dwelling.

Bungalows don’t have a second floor. All rooms are on one level. A house is usually two storeys; an upstairs and downstairs. ☺️

Haha I was wondering as well! That’s not the word we use in the US! We would just call this a “one story house” and a bungalow would be like...a guest house behind a main house! I was so confused 😂

I have a TV in mine, it’s like the area that me and my family hang out in the most! It’s nice to have the TV on in the background whilst you’re cooking, or waiting for food haha, or you can watch a film whilst eating etc😂

I was just as amazed with our slow-closing loo seat when we bought our house. The only thing I will say, be prepared for accidentally slamming every other loo seat you go to close from now on through force of habit hahaha! we also have slow closing cupboards and my parents hate it when I visit them as I'm constantly slamming everything!
