Hi, my name is Joy and you are watching me no bouken (me and my adventures).
Huge announcement!! We bought a house near Tokyo prefecture. And we are moving in soon!!!
And in today's video, is an empty typical Japanese house - tour. We will explore more as we live in and show you cool and awesome features of what a typical Japanese House has.
Of course, i will be taking you with me in our adventure. Sharing more ideas on how to get a house when you are a foreign national or someone who has a foreign background, as we are. Our journey to finding a house and purchasing in Japan, what things we needed to take a look at and any documents we needed as well as any precautions we encountered as we moved in. More videos to come!!!
Don't forget to like and subscribe for more Japan Lifestyle content!!
And it would really help me a lot, thank you in advance and see you soon!

@menobouken
@menobouken 2 жыл бұрын
Thank you, Rameesha! Yes! There are boundaries, but not walls. It’s more like a low knee height-ish wall and fence that is about half of a person. It’s very typical to Japanese houses, unless it’s a big lot for one family or owner.

I saw many videos showing houses in Japan and I think this was actually the best one! Please tell me, is this at Saitama Prefecture? It looks like lots of people choose to live there since it has better value than Tokyo...

Aww! Thank you so much! Yes, Tokyo is quite a busy area to live, and surrounding prefectures or not the city centre provide better value (at least for me).

@menobouken
@menobouken 2 жыл бұрын
Hi po:) overall estimate is different for prefectures po. But around 3500万 to 4500万 is your average. Tapos, there are other fees so think about it as: the house and lot plus 10% is your final price. Of course, there are loans you can use as well. Mortgage loans in Japan is usually at 0.3% to 1%.

What a nice and cute house but it has a lot of unnecessary parts to it. Like the sliding doors in between the two rooms upstairs. Why do that? There's no privacy. And they should of place the entrance to the attic outside the room to make it an extra bedroom for an extra family member or guest. I also wonder why all the window are blurry like bathroom windows and not clear? The bottom floor is fine. The kitchen and living are cool. But no garage. A man have to have a garage for his car & tools. 😁
@menobouken
@menobouken Жыл бұрын
Hey 😊😊😊 the sliding door in the room is to make that room bigger. And as for the windows, that’s for privacy - neighbours in Japan are quite close to each other and so that happens. There is a garage, it isn’t just like how it is in America. It’s pretty rare in Japan to have something similar like that, afterall, it is in Japan and it is a typical house found in Japan. I do want a garage though 😅
@salamander337
