In this video I pretty much go right to a near by Abandoned Drone base POI and get through it. Not without some pain thou as normal. lol I did get some more loot but didn't really get some things I wanted like a little platinum or quantum processors. However some of the other loot could be helpful.

Quantum is in the boss room, behind black shutter door on the right-side of entrance. You can also access from P or F4 menu by putting you core/salvage core on POI

jeff you can shift click items to move then across containers rather then draging them, much quicker, also why dont you hit up a colonist station and stick your credits in bank and buy some meds, lol, if you press F1 and click the solo missions tab thats where there used to be a mission to clear negative status with polaris, but its not there so i dont think its been added to RE2 yet. also make some salvage cores and keep them in your ship, once you core a poi stick a salvage core on it and then hit F4, then you can loot all the containers in the base straight to your ship including the quantum loot boxes (except the alien loot containers, they dont show in the p-menu), all the purple poi's should give atleast 1 quantum part but usually 2, also you should goto the uch research ship in the starter system and start the quests there, your need to activate the make contact with terran forces quest in the F1/solo missions tab before warping to uch ship but then you can do the uch quests like dead worlds/the infected and also the scanning hot/cold etc systems for navigation data to improve your warp distance, 1 last thing, you have an advanced mobility booster so add that to the heavy armour and it wont slow you down as much.

Maybe try running poi's with the 45mm rocket launcher which will 1 tap most turrets and the minigun - if you're anything like me you take most damage reloading but the minigun's 250 round clip will beat most mobs if you can land some headshots. Also buy all the bandages from traders, I usually carry 100. Since I started carrying the minigun and enough bandages I pretty much stopped dying in poi's

Polaris rep: makes things cheaper...worth it for long term. Critical if you engage in shipment trading. Also, having Friendly and able to teleport is really hand for some ship components. To improve: mining contracts (fastest), unlock traders (second fastest), or kill pirates and zirax (run POIs, not kill ships).

Are meds not working for anybody else? Only kits seem to cure ailments.
