perfect ratio of plants for ration production is: 12 Ahax, 3 tomatos, 3 pearthing, 4 spice, 8 buds.... Only issue is the buds are faster and so you might be able to get away with less if you harvest them more frequently... But the rest are on the same schedule time so everything comes up at the same time roughly.

I wondered about this ratio - thank you. I usually just go with 9 pumpkin (yield is higher), 9 ahax, 9 spice, 9 buds, 9 space orange, and one more plot of 9 with one each of other remaining crops. I know that tomatoes grow faster, but I found that I only harvest the farm about once per day - which means it's always fully grown every time I log in. For me, there's no need to worry about grow time at all. And since there's no practical reason to grow anything but emergency rations, I build up a stockpile of those pretty quickly anyway. Since 30 is not a multiple of 9, you're always going to be left with empty plots anyway with this ratio (unless you just don't use the full potential of the grow lights). Having extra of certain things is great anyway so that you always have a flow of rotten food for future projects. 😆 All that said, I did wonder about this ratio. So again, thanks!

I do wish farming was just a bit more involved. Like you need to provide water.
