Every ship/base require TWO THINGS to start. 1) Generator 2) Fuel Tank Unless you manually building it without using the blueprint(base blueprint, hover blueprint, small grid blueprint, capital blueprint) than you will also need a core. Power can be generate by two ways. Solar and Fosil Fuel(Prometheum). Solar is very good for space stations not so much for base and worst for ships. Fuel is the best way to produce energy for ship. Its fast and require a little bit a prometheum..this prometheum than can be process by a few way including fusing them with hydrogen but ill let you find that yourself and not spoil it.

Building an HV 101: having a larger platform to mount engines on will increase the HV's stability & hence driveability. That tiny thing is just a minimalist example: the tutorial is about showing you how to improve on its example layouts to gain better performance for your needs. For all vehicles, turn off engines (not necessarily power) upon exit to save fuel when you're not using them: fuel is scarce enough to value highly, & you'll go thru a lot as you upgrade to larger vessels with bigger/more engines Shotgun is useful for short-range melee attackers such as animals, but the sniper rifle is good vs most other enemies, including drones: headshots do count for extra damage. Assault/pulse/laser rifles are good all-rounders (but you should get the ammo recipes & ingredients before using the latter). Rocket launchers are good vs fixed emplacements such as turrets; not so much vs mobile enemies (at least until you get (semi-)guided rockets) WRT your turrets, you can specify target types for them to automatically shoot at. For instance, when using that artillery to attack the base, it would have been useful to turn off everything but 'drones' & 'turrets', then let it do its own thing: you don't want it to randomly attack eg animals or the base structure blocks as it's a waste of ammo

I love that I can make my ship more stable--I am flying around all over the place haha ;D I am looking forward to trying this game on a fresh map :D I had no idea you could have the turret automatically shoot! That's awesome! I thought they wanted me to aim haha

I know you’re playing through both games right now but which one are you liking more space engineers or empyrion?

This is a great question! I need to try them more, but I think I like them both for different reasons :D Engineers is better for building stuff, Empyrion seems better for a survival game, but I could be wrong! So far, they are both very impressive!
