Keeping the ore in your hold creates a ton of weight which burns through fuel faster and makes it harder to get off planets. You should munch all those ores & crystals down into ingots & pellets. Will free up volume & weight

I didn't realize that was actually taken into consideration. I mean it makes sense which is why i didn't think it would be a thing :D thanks for pointing out. I will make sure i focus on that as i generally just do it as i remember!
