First time I heard this CD was at a friends house back in '02. I bought it from Amazon and went to his house to smoke and chill. There were three of us in the living room and his living room was really nice, with a plush carpet and fluffy couch pillows on the floor. We took a couple of hits and I opened the cd and put it into the stereo, and we all sat down and started talking. A couple minutes into the first song we just shut up and started listening. All three of us were floored. It was a magical moment..

Prime example of an ear grabbing DJ Aural pleasure, @System777. In the turn of the century, I remember hearing all these tracks played by a handful of DJs in Memphis, TN. I never heard this particular Nubreed mixed compilation before today. I must admit that your nostalgia is different than mine because it is specifically linked to purchasing this CD and bringing it to a friendly gathering as a soundtrack to the evening that inadvertently became the primary attraction. I've created those moments, too. It's a special place in your mind and heart. For me, this set is a collage of different club and radio moments created by different talented DJs with an excellent ear for terrific progressive house music ... Satoshi put these nostalgic tracks together in a masterpiece set!

I saw him when he was touring for this release...followed by listening to these mixes dozens of times and travelling to see him probably 15 times all over the states. it's incredible when one moment has that much impact and resonates in your life in a positive way. And btw I got to talk to him a couple times and he couldn't be a more humble sweet guy. Even explained to me what he was using his iPad for while playing(created his own custom midi interface)

It's late 2021. I must have listened to the mix over 30 times now for the longest time as I can remember. Timeless track selection, fantastic mixing, and overall Satoshi just picked the right progressive house tracks for the compilation. Many more years to come while sitting down and relaxing to both of these awesome CDs.

Producers still make it, spend a few days on beatport I promise you'll find it. The problem is it's just not the mainstream PH sound anymore. Look through deep tech, tech house, deep house (which has more progressive house undertones than it used to have), even melodic house (which might be kind of a new genre I'm not sure).

7:40 great track. One of my all favorites as is this CD. Nubreed were a great series (apart from Jim Rivers), as were most of the GU release. Shame there are so many toy town beats around these days. Still nice to see Digweed keeping the faith with his "Live In" cd series .
